On a modest contract I see no issues with it. Like saying Jake Soligo signing on to 2029 when he was in his 2nd season is a bad contract.

Zac Williams was a bad contract. McGovern too. Absolutely disastrous stuff. Cerra is perfectly fine imo.

i contemplated dayne beams but ironically he probably somehow helped collingwood long term. let them offload pieces excess to need and got in pieces that were key to their eventual premiership.

I personally found it a bit strange to put Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper on 7-year contracts.. they've been alright but not 7-year-contract alright.
