I don't want to parrot Kane Cornes but here we are.

Seems like there are a few long term contracts that have gone sour..

I'll make a start but please feel free to add suggestions and I'll update the OP.

1. Clayton Oliver > 2030
2. Noah Balta > 2032
3. Luke Davies Uniacke > 2032
4. Tim Kelly > 2027
5. Bradley Hill > 2027
6. Blake Acres > 2027
7. Adam Cerra > 2030
8. Max King > 2032

It's probably a bit early to put the LDU one on there.

Jordan Ridley until the end of 2029 is a bit how you going.

Never understood why Cerra cops it from oppo supporters.

Just a solid 3rd/4th string mid playing on an above average wage. Nowhere near the Clarry Olivers and Brad Hills of the world.

Noah Balta has to be top 3 comp wide. Signed until 2032 last year then went and bashed someone and now gives his opponent 15 metres of leg rope.

Don't agree on Kelly. They're a bottom side so need to fill the salary floor somehow.

3rd/4th string providing 3rd/4th string mid performances signed to 2030... There's the answer.
Stars get 5+ years. Not your soldier types.

What about the other way. Seems to be a few players in recent time who signed extension and now believe they are underpaid and want to renegotiate.

On a modest contract I see no issues with it. Like saying Jake Soligo signing on to 2029 when he was in his 2nd season is a bad contract.

Zac Williams was a bad contract. McGovern too. Absolutely disastrous stuff. Cerra is perfectly fine imo.

What did Carlton give up to get Cerra?

I think Max Kings deal is fine. Saints don’t have a shortage of cap space and he’s talented when fit.

Clayton Oliver’s contract will be the clubhouse leader by daylight for a long long time.

At least Clarry helped deliver the Dees a flag. That in itself is worth plenty when weighing up the misery on the horizon with his contract.

Did clubs not learn from the Grundy pies contract. insane contracts been given out.

Not sold on NAS and TDK with the speculation of what they should get either

Clayton Oliver's problem is he is sober.

Once he gets back on the cocaine he'll be fine, hopefully we can get his mate Jamarra in to the team to set him straight.
