Why do you think they’re a lock to beat Sydney in Sydney, let alone thrash them by a good margin? Grundy will have a field day against Stanley.

Because:

Following the Crows in the lead in to finals is just a history of whatever can go wrong will go wrong.

Which is not a knock on us this year. But historically, losing games we shouldn't, other results stitching us up big time (like the year Essendon virtually laid down in the last round which let St Kilda knock us out of the top 4).

The team has what it takes this year, but it's a long history that begets cynicism and pessimism when it comes to results "going our way".
