Give up your membership then. There plenty of people waiting in the wings.
Unfortunately, this seems to be the club’s attitude to members as well. “Who cares if they’re disgruntled? Plenty more where they came from”.

I did my 10 years in the wings. Come back to me when you've waited that long.Give up your membership then. There plenty of people waiting in the wings.
That's the only thing keeping the membership tally high. If you could drop a membership but know you could get it back when times were good, I'm sure we'd be like the tigers getting 20k to MCG games.Unfortunately, this seems to be the club’s attitude to members as well. “Who cares if they’re disgruntled? Is it normal Rd24 is still not confirmed date/time vs Syd, anyone know?
Saturday arvo would be my guess, the sunday games are usually reserved for ladder deciding stuff. Would assume they put dogs/freo & lions/hawks on the sunday evening slots. Will prob be that late Sunday game as neither team will be playing finals.

I was on the waiting list for 5 or 6 years and finally got my call up and got some seats.I did my 10 years in the wings. Come back to me when you've waited that long.
I think it will be more like 25k this weekAgree.
There were hoards of fans leaving from midway thru the 3rd last home game.
Wonder if they can commence the departure services at half time this week.
You cant expect us fans to constantly sit through non competitive efforts for 4 years straight, its an 8th wonder of the world how we consistently get 40k+ to a home game.
Yep. The people saying to keep him in defence probably said the same about Yeo.Don’t rate the calls to move Hough back in def.
he has been playing a lot of negating roles through the middle, but when given license to chase the footy has been pretty good.
Keep him there and let him have a full pre season with the mids group. Would be stupid to give up on this so soon imo when he has show some really positive things in there. Again his low stats often are reflective of a role he has been given (he confirmed as much in recent coast to coast poddy)
I've never been a member nor want to be. I never buy merchandise nor want to.
I've been to Optus Stadium once to see them play Lions last season - Simmos farewell.
Before that the last game I went to was Subi oval in mid 90's.
But I'm a happy supporter for 35 years, through the ups and downs.
They don't owe me, I don't owe them. It's just free entertainment.
Splinter dick article saying Ryan, Brockman and Owies did not lay a tackle on the weekend.
Woodcock, "Matt Owies, Liam Ryan and Tyler Brockman didn’t lay a tackle between them for the game."
WTF
Loink - https://archive.md/C0GTA
Does that really count though?Ryan did lay one heck of a headbutt though!
Does that really count though?
Looked like Ryan came of the worse for wear.
I wonder if they’re even contemplating putting up the tickets prices next year…?That might be your position. There’s 50,000 members who spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars per seat per year, and thousands more who pay for the privilege to be on the waiting list. For them it’s not “free” entertainment.

My Nan always to say “Mister! Mister! Get. Me. Outta. Here!!!”My Nan always used to say, "You can't make an omlette without breaking a few heads"
Well, that's their decision, that's what they wanted, they're adults. That might be your position. There’s 50,000 members who spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars per seat per year, and thousands more who pay for the privilege to be on the waiting list. For them it’s not “free” entertainment.
He’s young and has time to develop that side but there’s to me Houghs inside game atm doesn’t scream Steele. I actually think the attributes he possesses are closer to Jack Redden at the Eagles. Can tackle, can lock down and plays that third inside mid that is balanced or outside leaning.Yeah agreed completely. He's made a shift to the middle mid-season, has put up 20+ disposal games when he's not negating someone and done well enough at the negating when that's his role. Expecting him to both find the ball a lot and lock down on someone, all while we're getting flogged, is so unrealistic.
He reminds me so much of Jack Steele and think that'll be his vibe as a future mid - leadership, toughness, nothing fancy, mid 20s disposals + a lot of tackles, two-way player who can do a semi-tag whilst keeping an offensive mindset.
Hough just can't do both modes at once yet, which isn't a shock at all. Quite like actually that we've been keeping things simple with either hard tags or a possession focus, he'll put them both together after a preseason or two as a mid.
