This weekend the Tigers head back to the comfort of the MCG to take on the up and down Saints who are coming off back to back wins, where they ran down the Dees in a record comeback in the last quarter, then struggled to beat the 17th placed Roos who were close to pinching the game before another last moment goal sealed the win the the Saints.

Meanwhile we looked anything but the side that had played some pretty good footy against WCE & Collingwood the previous 2 weeks as we struggled to kick 2 goals in pretty good conditions up on the Gold Coast, with a number of players looking like they're just hanging on as we head into the final 3 weeks of the season.

Hopefully we will regain Broad Taranto & Lynch to strengthen the line up a little, but we will lose Faull for the remainder of the season after he picked up a knee injury early in the game against the Suns, while we could give Trainor a rest after he has been playing sore for a few weeks, the other change will be interesting, do we go with someone like McIntosh who has played every game this year, but has seemingly been hanging on to the last spot in the side the last couple of week where he's been the sub before a late change against the Pies and started as the sub against the Suns or do we go with a kid who may be a little sore and not quite able to go at full tilt the whole game.

The other interesting aspect to this game is that it could be one that we're in the hunt for the win, which would be our 6th for the year, which would draw us level with the Bombers and pretty much ensure that North will finish 2nd last and give us pick 2 locked away and a free swing at beating North the following week to maybe end the season with 7 wins which would be a big improvement from the 2 wins last year and well ahead of the win tally many experts said we'd end up with before the season began.

As far as I'm concerned I hope we head into the game with the belief and expectation that we can win it because we've seen with a club like North that having high picks over winning games doesn't help the team improve when it comes to winning games they should win. We're selecting a team with a lot of young players and I believe they will gain more from playing to win and falling short than playing for picks and getting easily beaten.

In: Lynch, Taranto, Broad
Out: Faull, McIntosh, Trainor,

I also wouldnt mind them resting Sims and taking a look at Blight again, in a second ruck role with Balta also giving a chop out.
Let’s have look at something different.

Could get ugly for the Saints this week.

The godfather of all forwards returning. TT with his no-care expressions and zero burst speed complimented by footballs good-bloke in Broad.

I swear if Higgins or Mason Wood kicks 3+ I'll spew

I read somewhere that Blight needs 1 more gane to activate a contract trigger

Doubt he plays again as he seems to of had his papers stamped
