Re: 'Alleged' rumours resurfacing ...

Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

Thanks all!

Collingwood would hold the door open for Skipworth.

Not because they want to lose him, but because they think he deserves a senior coaching gig. Show me where they don't rate him? He's the most senior assistant, and he ran their preseason program while Fly stepped back.

Bolton ran Hawthorn’s in-season program for 5 weeks whilst Clarkson stepped back.

High Performance: Rob Innes
Not to single you out because many do it, but this is one of the more baffling misspellings on this board. I could understand Cuningham, and the dude who keeps spelling Cottrell, Cotterell, is just amusing. But many of you weren't Bushrangers fans back in the 90's and it shows.

If I had my way ...

List Manager: Unsure. Changes must be made.
High Performance: Rob Innes

Here are 3 we could go after:

Andrew Mackie – Cats list manager

With Cook and rumours of Bartel and Enright joining us... Mackie might feel enticed to join as well. Cats have stayed highly competitive while rejuvenating its list with young talent and maintaining veteran leadership.

Known across the industry for being pragmatic, strategic, and data-informed — without being trend-chasing.

Justin Reid – Crows List Manager
He's overseen a steady, patient rebuild of the Crows list with a focus on local talent and smart trading (e.g., Jordan Dawson deal).

Has deep experience in managing rebuilds, youth development, and culture fit recruiting.

Max Bailey – Hawthorn National Recruiting Manager
He's a key architect of Hawthorn’s recent youth rebuild. Has a sharp eye for character-first players and strong development focus.

Already being mentioned as a future GM/List Manager at other clubs...

Posted this about him in the coach thread:

Hayden Skipworth:
  • Elite in systems, stoppages, & structure
  • Brings calm, clarity, and leadership maturity
  • Strong rapport with players
  • Harvard/Columbia-trained in leadership & performance psychology
tbh, these traits are exactly what we're looking for...
Where do I sign?

It would be genuinely hilarious if he came to Carlton.

Smart trading (e.g. Bryce Gibbs deal).

That doesnt show me why the Pies would hold the door open for Skipworth.
