I don’t think next week will be a percentage booster for them… At least a semi hard game.

I never thought it was a guaranteed win, let alone percentage booster. Geelong don’t have a great record at the SCG either. I’ll be tipping Sydney if they play well against Brisbane this weekend.

23 scoring shots to 18, 8 points in the last quarter, they dominated inside 50s after we hit the lead but missed sitters. Clearly we were lucky they missed.

Smithers was delivering the ball to them on a platter while they were camped in our back half. If they actually scored they wouldn't have gotten so many inside 50s.

What we should have done is move the ball out of defence by hand to draw Brisbane in and then rebounded into the open field running onto the ball, but that was too attacking for Nicks at the time.

Geelong are one of the worst clubs for players falling forward as soon as they get tackled.

It's nauseating watching these flogs, they're a close 2nd to Port in terms of dislike for me.
