People blaming no Howe, Dean in etc as affecting Darcy is garbage.

Weitering and Wilkie and Vlaustin have less support but still stand up.

A guy at 27 or 28 and captain should not be making the mistakes he does.
If he’s not 30m from his opponent, he’s dropping marks or not putting body on, especially on the goal line.

He's playing at Oscar McDonald level atm. Needs to take marks and make his presence felt

It won't solve anything by relinquishing the captaincy. We have 2 weeks to fix the midfield. Time to drop long and Mitchell and try something faster. Hopefully Beau is back and we can play him and degoey in the middle more

I think JDG playing forward last night was a flow on effect of Howe's concussion. It meant we couldn't play him on lower minutes.

Lippa, Long, and Titch on top of Pendles, Sidey and Houston is just way too slow.

The leadership is shared, "captain" is a title. Howe was speaking to the team before the game. 1 minute into the game they had to see him get stretchered off.

Moore's form mirrors the side's (or vice versa); he is not playing well.

The length of the queue of posters lining up to fling their mud does not surprise me.

The team needs a leader that lifts when the team is down and inspires by performance, not someone who actually starts the decline with a costly skill error. Moore has been down for weeks. I don’t suggest a change now, but at end of season, the captaincy should be handed to N Daicos.

Exactly, in the past he wasn't hesitant to move Howe forward. I'm not sure why he can't do it with Moore.

I feel like fly is always resistant towards moving magnets early, usually always only in the 4th qtr.

Can anyone tell me why Moore ran off the ground midway through the second term which left Houston exposed on Chol when a long kick went to the top of their square? Chol promptly marked and goaled and then Moore charged back onto the ground. I was bewildered at the time and still have no understanding as to why he had to take a break at a crucial stage of the match when we were under siege down back.

For what its worth, Darcy was terrible in the grand final.

I don't care about the captaincy, I just want him to play better. He's our main defensive cog but atm he's almost in droppable form. Our benign midfield is the biggest problem though

Agree. Seemed to take McStay’s forward minutes allowing him to play in defence.

McStay was already playing predominantly behind the footy when not in the ruck. Had to to counter their tall forwards once Howe went down. The issue wasn’t where Moore or McStay played, it was getting smacked in the midfield and on transition. Moving Moore forward wouldn’t have changed either of those issues.
