For me, it's simply any matchup between two bottom-four teams.

Some of the closest, most entertaining matches have been between the bottom 4 sides. Richmond - North - WC seems to have produced a few in recent years. For me, it's simply any matchup between two bottom-four teams.
Mate you do realise that North have had consistently smaller home game crowds at Hobart than the last GWS v GC game at Engie?GWS v Gold Coast or North Melbourne @ Engie Stadium
That'd attract the smallest crowd in the comp (not taking into account reduced capacity during redevelopments of other grounds etc)
Most random would probs be....
Bulldogs v Gold Coast in Ballarat
No games are insignificant though, we need and should all want 18 healthy clubs in the comp....even if we may hate a few of the others' guts.
'95 SemiNoted during the absolute dross a few weeks ago, when was the last time an Essendon v Richmond match actually meant something?
They played in the 65 GF from memory, there's history just not recent history. Tony Lockett putting that Essendon player in a headlock and nearly killing him that day out at Waverley is another part of history.Looking at clubs only st kilda vs essendon for a nothing matchup. Don’t know whether there’s much history between the two but they’re pretty middle of the road/bottom half.
Outside the football clubs you can’t get much more meh than Fremantle.
Current day yes but historic rivalry in the 90s into the 2000s.Bombers v Roos
'95 Semi
Hopefully for our sake it is one sided, and we than do what we have to directly afterwards. Finally we have a GC vs GWS game to get excited about - and I think it'll be dreadfully one sided. But GC should make top 4 from here.
That popped into my head too.North v GWS doesn't hold a lot of intrigue...
Of courseCurrent day yes but historic rivalry in the 90s into the 2000s.
They played a 1 v 4 QF in 2001, so that’s not correct.'95 Semi
Interesting. Play on. (I was overseas 2001-2002 2004-2014 basically, so news to me)They played a 1 v 4 QF in 2001, so that’s not correct.
For the last few years….. All West Coast away games.
