If Wagner come back, which, I think he will, I'm not sure Dudley survives. We've got Switta, Reid, Bolton and Freddy as the smalls (someone really needs to rev Freddy up about tackling like a demon). I don't think JL will make too many rash calls - like Simpson for Banfield.
Out: Dudley
In: Wagner
Dudley won’t be selected for the rest of the season. Just can’t get into games.

If Wags foot doesn't come up, then hopefully Coops gets a crack.

**** me I'm nervous.
I am okay atm.

I reckon 2015 prelim was the longest week for me with nerves.

The trepidation are we good enough and the fear that we just weren't good enough despite leading the pack with our best start to the year.

It turned out true but its probably because I knew that was it now or never for that era.

And that Hawthorn side we just couldn't conquer.

I dont fear Brisbane.

We are good enough its just handling the occasion

Confession, I never watched the 2015 prelim. I made sure I was at work where there was no reception because I actually felt sick from nerves

You just know the competitor within him will run through every session tomorrow and put his hand up to play

Man - soak in this feeling this week fellow Freo supporters.

Two weeks in the Home and Away season to go. A rare spot in the finals on the line, Top 4 teasingly, tantalisingly close to that finals opportuntiy. A knife's edge away. 11 out of the last 12 games won, many in epic come-from-behind circumstances. Watching our team grow, mature and believe before our very eyes on a week-to-week basis.

Fremantle's best ever player announces his retirement at the start of the week. Instead of hanging up the boots utterly broken down, as we all expected to be the case, and as was the case with Walters, the man once again looks like he could actually contribute. Instead of leaving with a whimper following the off-field sub injury against Hawks, he's somehow got his body back into playing form. A key playmaker in the dying minutes against Port, Nat Fyfe could actually, once more, be the difference in a match - something we havent seen much this side of 2020.

Soak it all in, for tragedy could follow in a fortnight, but glory and unbelievable realities could also eventuate. If you like the booze, maybe cull it back, if you're a workaholic - maybe dial it in a bit within reason. If you're the praying type - pray for good energy, focus and belief in the team. Meditate, contemplate, review and reflect on what has been both an epic journey for an individual and collective suffering for years on end.

It's 2025, we're at the business end of the season, we're up to our necks in this, in the absolute thick of it, and Nat Fyfe - our last glorious champion from that 2013 Grand Final still has one last roll of the dice at the ultimate glory. While that hope still exists, we should all be in a collective state of excitement and anticipation the likes of which we've never known before.

Soak it in!
