Not from Melbourne but was there during the summer. I went to the Footscray markets, there seemed a lot out there.

And yes the food was amazing. I grabbed groceries out there for a month or so.

Essendon have the entire Calder Cannons catchment, so it's a footy hotbed and a multicultural hotbed up through the northern growth corridor, lots of Middle Eastern, African and Indian migration up through that area and local footy is underpinned by a very strong EDFL and parts of the Northern Footy League.

I fully expect that all the time and effort we have pumped into making our program flourish will quickly be for nought because St. Kilda and Andrew Bassat hate multiculturalism.

ive said my bit about NGA's and AFL clubs. The ones who are putting in with there academies are going to start reaping the rewards compared to those who dont.

Bassat is the one driving the equality train and trying to abolish the NGA’s, and my position is that they uplift the entire pool for the collective good so his motives are inherently self serving and penny pinching because not only would they benefit if they actually embraced it, the entire code would. He’s being a grinch.

Anyhow, I’m a big Nguyen fan.
