Yes apparently Carlton are negotiating with TDK and St Kilda with NWM, all going swimmingly.

It won't have anything to do with market value. Essendon, St Kilda, North Melbourne will all match or even pay more because they'd have to. Hawthorn and Geelong wont overpay because they are preferred by players. Why, because winning is important to them.
