Assume Whitlock will play forward though based on VFL and current squad needs - which means Darling is the logical 2nd ruck anyway to ensure enough room for Trembath / Whitlock.

Yeah, but in reality Whitlock is probably better placed to play his role (2nd/3rd tall) at AFL level vs Goad as a ruck. Plus it's funnier for the meme's if Whitlock comes in and smashes it against the team that effectively is the reason we have him.

I think it's best to leave the guy who can kick goals but doesn't chase down in defence, and the guy who can defend but can't kick goals up forward.
