Nah that’s just a rubbish potshot at the league.

14/18 sides play at what I’d consider an acceptable standard for where the comp is at in its early development, and the top five or so are genuinely good. Our program is pitiful and has been going backwards at an alarming rate. The worst thing in all this is Carlton are also in that bottom four that I’d consider unacceptable. We’re abysmal and I’d argue we’ve been getting steadily worse since about Season 5.

I must be watching a different game. If there was only maybe 10 teams it might be an acceptable standard but the difference between the best and worst players is ridiculously huge.
