Did anyone watch the Fox review show after the game? They showed an incident when Tex's young boys were kicking the ball (I think after the game) and the ball hit one of them on the head. Tears were shed. When the team was singing the song, Tex was holding the young lad, who had his head buried in his Dad's shoulder.

Is there any way of watching that after match show again?

They ran into each other and had a little head clash.

I thought it was a reference to the game itself. With the lack of last qtr goals the game was dead when we went 8 points up. The game was back on when Daicos goaled. Eff a lot of you people are sensitive with persecution complexes, not a great combo.

In Laws of Australian Football 2025, Law 18.13 states:

field Umpire shall award a Free Kick against a Player who:
(d) engages in Time Wasting;

This is defined in Section 1.1 (Definitions and Interpretation) as:

Time Wasting: where a field Umpire is of the opinion that a Player is unnecessarily
causing a delay in play.

Note that Time Wasting is also a reportable offence, though Thilthorpe's actions did not rise to that level.

The problem with the Thilly out of bounds thing is he has done it before. Remember a game in the same scenario where he thumped the ball into the crowd after it went out and gave away a free. It's silly and he needs to stop doing things like that.

I remember seeing a little head shake. But you'd expect that after an unforced kick out of bounds.

Schoenberg certainly didn't do himself any favours.

I also saw Murphy scream "****" after he slipped over and gave up the free on the wing. He knows he's on his last chance.

I think the selectors recognize the other stuff Thilthorpe does eg rucking, he was about 6th in goal assists too.

No doubt, but there’s still not much difference. TT up by 2.7 hitouts and 0.2 goal assists and down by 1.5 score assists per game. He can definitely make it and be deserving, but wouldn’t be certain about it at all.

The vibe I'm getting is that they had been discussing Schoenberg's future during the week. I agree though, if we had to keep one, I'd keep Schoenberg.

I'm pretty sure the last time we played them... milera got called for throwing when he actually handballed it.. led to a goal against... so justice was done

It was red time in I think the 3rd quarter (may have been 2nd) but it set up a 2-3 goal lead for them at the point when the game was right in the balance.

There's a very weird picture on the Crows website (match report), where the single Collingwood player is celebrating just as hard as the four Crows players as the final siren went!

Our midfield was pretty ordinary. They got crushed, leading to twice as many forward entries for Collingwood.
The last three games have shown the exact same issue.

The good : The entire backline. Thilthorpe, Dawson, Rankine, Cumming for periods, Curtin bounced back after last week.

I thought he was trying to flick it up to the umpire but a bad attempt, but still should have been penalised

Reliable defender but with a great mix of dare. Just enough 'crazy' in his eye to be intimidating as well.

How was it when Murphy took the make and fell over

I thought his best moment was when he won that contested ball against Daicos and then proceeded to to bang the ball on his boot without even lifting his head to look up the field despite having time to do so. Ball went straight to a Collingwood defender. Reminiscent of early crows when long high bombs to no one was the norm.
