When do you think would be the optimum time to announce the re-signing?

A couple of months ago would have been ideal.

I've had more info sent to me that state he's deciding between a 2 or 4 deal than him wanting Adelaide. Of course he still can decide to leave but it genuinely reads like guess work. And if it happens they can pat themselves on the back and say good work gentleman

gave this a bit of thought myself recently,for about 2 minutes max,but i though shy guy,might want the announcement whatever it is to occur after the last game,when he is locked in his or families safe adelaide home,or even better,when he is hanging out on some beach on madagascar or 3 quarters the way up mt.everest on his off season trip,away from all the parasites in the media

With Aleer it's worth remembering it would be coming from Lyon, Enright and Rivers. They're the ones that want him.

If Dan Curtin hadn’t recently re-signed, I’d suggest Crows could send him to WCE for pick 2 (Oscar Allen compo), and then trade pick 2 and 2026 first for NWM.

Think the only way you get more from Port is if Butters is involved which seems very unlikely.
