A top 5 and top 10 pick is not even a bare minimum. Any pick at all is a roll of the dice juxtaposed with an already bona fide elite champ who has at least 10 years footy in front of him. Even 3 top ten picks would not be enough.

we have already lost. if the choice is 1 top 10 pick which will blow out to pick 15-19 and a shit player, or losing him for nothing and changing the view we are push overs where managers can send a player anywhere they want. then i'd take the later.

there is no way the crows will risk that though.

Hoping he stays but if not, he'll be taken by us with our first pick in either the preseason draft or the national draft, hopefully you get a good deal for him as a result, very much doubt he wants to go to Perth.

This might be bordering on draft tampering but could we do a sweetheart deal with WCE whereby we decide we don't want to trade to whichever Adelaide club on a lowball offer as long as we're well compensated by them in return if we let him go to the draft and WCE picks him up.

Manouvre by trading some good players for picks and move up the draft order this year. Trade your future first from 2026 to bring in more draft capital for this year high up the order. Inlclude good players who dont fit our age profile so you can move up the draft order even more. give us two top 10 picks, including a very high one, and soligo, and your future 27. Get creative. and yes this sounds impossible. tough luck. call me in 2 years.

chris judd, who was 24 years old at the time (2 years older than Nas), was traded for pick 3, pick 20 and 20 year old josh kennedy who was a #4 draft pick 2 years prior. I'd expect something similar or hang up the phone. also these drafts weren't compromised so it stayed at picks 3 and 20.
