chris judd, who was 24 years old at the time (2 years older than Nas), was traded for pick 3, pick 20 and 20 year old josh kennedy who was a #4 draft pick 2 years prior. I'd expect something similar or hang up the phone. also these drafts weren't compromised so it stayed at picks 3 and 20.

I’ve said we won’t get full value. Not that we will be bent over without even a finger to stretch us open.

Hence why I said, a deal both fanbases hate, is the goldilocks spot of acceptable.

Ehh, he's literally just making it up. Journalism is almost dead as a profession generally and the media surrounding AFL is just about the lowest common denominator.

I wouldn't mind seeing the AFL finally call out a 'journo' to ask what their good faith belief was in publishing an article but then you'll get lots of bleating about 'protecting sources' or something so it's a non-starter.
