Realistically Hopper and Taranto may only have one year left if they perform poorly, then we need to do a Hawthorn and just move them on to open up their spots. Prestia needs to finish up this week.

Prestia is done imo, he can still get the ball, but no spread, poor by foot, nil defensive intent.

Taranto is our best mid, I’d keep him, if there was interest in Hopper I’d consider it, but you still need some depth, it’d have to be a good deal.

Ross , Sonsie and Dow , probably not getting a game in 16 other teams in the competition. Ross is the best of those 3 , the other 2 we are just wasting spots on.

I can understand why there is a lot of anger about the result in this game. You sometimes do well against top 8 sides eg GWS coz they are a bit off coz it means less to them but it doesn’t mean you are only a goal or two worse. We did this in our dynasty at times. But when you play a team at your realistic level you are both theoretically trying 100%. No excuses. So it can be a bigger reality check than losing by only 6 goals to Pies.

At the end of the day, we've had two good wins. Carlton and Gold Coast, which I applaud.
Beat West Coast twice, who are a rabble, and beat Essendon whose injury list is longer than Mt Alexander Road and worse than ours.
