If I was the Crows, Id appeal it. Daicos on Camera hits Smith first. Just because Daicos fell over in no way should determine of he was genuinely hurt. The AFL has no grounds for this fine.

If you watch any game of AFL football, 99% of the quick handball are throws. Outright throws. The commentors looked foolish because they focused on the few times the Crows got caught when its a mathematical certainty Pies players did it just as often.

They had a lot of tackles inside their 50 because they pumped it in to no one, we neutralised the contest, and it was ground ball chaos which creates a lot of tackles.

I'd challenge the fine and use the footage of 1 second earlier with Daicos to argue 'same much intent, but harder intensity'

It was weird too, I think TV makes things seem so much worse and dramatic but at the game, I wasn't nervous, I was excited. Even when they'd get within a goal I thought in that last quarter it was "We've got this."

I haven't thought that about a Crows side in a close game since the ****ing 90's.

I felt that too, this year has felt very different for a while and I just have confidence we will get it done in these close games. Losing I50 counts doesn’t bother me, I know our defense is in the top 3 over the last 25 years and will hold up.

Time wasting doesn't need to be minutes or hours. Games are now running 10 minutes longer than they did only a few years ago. It all adds up.
