That has the starting point of 2025 1st + 2026 1st, then factor in the contract situation.
That means another first or that one of the above has to be a top 3.

Geelong would love Jackson but dont realistically have the picks to get this done. Outside of humphries going there which i would hope doesn't happen i can't see us getting it done freo will just not agree to release him and fair enough too.

Geelong can trade their pick (currently 17) and a future 1st.

Contract just means you don’t have to trade him.

But let’s say Luke wants to play for vic club for his personal life situation and Freo agrees it’s for the best then you trade him for fair value which is what you gave to Melbourne.

If a club came to poach Luke or a contracted player with a larger contract, then Freo or club can say he’s not for trade unless you give us overs.

This is different, you’ll either do the right thing by him or you won’t.

Jackson from all reports is happy playing for Fremantle, and until an official trade request comes in, the best course of action is to assume as such.

Any trade speculation died once Pickett re-signed with Melbourne, which goes to show that Jackson and the chances of him leaving were never all that high to begin with.

I think if anyone genuinely believes his early departure to Victoria last weekend is any indicator of Jackson wanting to leave Fremantle, they've just been spending too much time online, he's had a death in the family.
