One to go.

In: Grego, HEdwards
Out: Cripps, Bazzo

Owies seemingly untouchable on his bad days and he was generally better than Cripps today, so Cripps goes. Newton needs a full game, make Cole sub I suppose?

Can’t believe we’ve gone a whole year without playing HJ, his hands just seem so invaluable in this setup.

Wouldn’t mind another game for Champion but don’t see how, knowing what we know about the selection this year.

All the same really. Give Big Boy Benny Bennett a run as a farewell gift, who cares, could be funny.

Brock -> HEdwards
Brockman -> Dewar

Hopefully one of Cripps/Owies -> Grego

Dont think Brockman should be dropped, but he got subbed so who knows.
If Kelly is out injured then keep Brockman in.

Newton probably to remain sub, or Dewar.

I mean, what's there to do at this point?

Who would even get dropped, who would even come back in?

Petruccelle a final farewell? I wouldn't put it past this organisation.

I do actually think they might throw Grego a bone.

They’ll probably drop Newton and then not offer him a new contract, so that the total of his AFL career will be one possession coming in as sub to a match where his side is being flogged by almost 100 points.

Who ****ing cares.
Swans by 150.
I hope not.
It would be a buzz kill if we made it 23 rounds with no 100pt losses, only to go down by that much to a non finalists..

There's always something about that margain that there isn't to say, 94pts..

Swans can't even move from 10th on the ladder now. If they can send a B team, that might help us.

Ginbey vs Heeney will be one for the ages.

Tough one this week. The problem didn’t seem to be effort, but systems and skills - we were just hopelessly outclassed. Also, the WAFL side put in a good performance but no one really stood out.

Out: Newton (unlucky)
In: Grego

Backs: Bazzo, Brock, Ginbey, Hough, Cole, Baker, Grego
Mids: Kelly, Hewett, McCarthy, Hall, Chesser, Maric
Rucks: Flynn, Billiams
Forwards: Shanahan, Ryan, Owies, Cripps, Long, Davis, Graham
Sub: Brockman
Emergencies: Johnston (held over), Jilliams, Dewar

Don’t really want to drop Newton after a quarter and a bit but I don’t think he’s up to a full game at this stage. He can have one last full game in the WAFL to earn a contract extension, hopefully he gets it although list spots are getting tight.

Grego comes in for a long-awaited debut, Maric back up to a wing.

No other changes. They’re not dropping Cripps or Cole for the final game of the year and they’re not dropping Owies after a semi-decent game if they didn’t drop him after games where he was invisible.

Coach suggesting he'd like a win for the last game - in all reality, not sure how that is possible? But a solid game like the Crows game would be good.
And if they get close to that, it begs the question why can't they do that every week?
So many areas to address in the off-season. A lot of good decisions and right choices need to be made.
With the right cull, the right top-up, the right implants, things could improve certainly more than '25 - but there's still a bunch of players need to get to around 50 games.

Last game of the year so one last hit out to see what some of the guys can do and reward a couple for good games.
In- Grego - give the kid a run and make it an even 10 debutantes.
Jwilliams - Reward for effort and form last week.
Jamo - Why not? Could be last chance to prove himself.
Dewar - Went back and showed class.
Barnett - Kicked 3 goals and took some good marks. Just kidding, that was in the last 15min of the game so nope sorry.

Out - The other Williams for the other Williams.
Brockman, no real reason other than we know what he can do and want to give Dewar a run. Could possible replace Owies.........?????? Nahh we know that won't happen.
Newton - Got a taste.
Brock - Same as the other Brock with man on the end but want to give Jamo a run and see.
