In fairness he did ping his calf about five minutes into a game and get instantly subbed, then miss a month and come back via a four goal game in the WAFL.

The prospect of losing your membership after years of huge payments to send a message is a pretty tough one however.

Clearly it wasn't a serious post, but am curious - why would you lose your membership for missing one game? Presumably there's others waiting in line for a membership.

Well not showing up doesn’t bother them a great deal coz they still get their money, so the only way to truly hurt them is to not renew your membership. Though they'd have an eye on the crowd size, it's the membership numbers that are more affecting the cash.

I think they do some kind of revenue/cost share with the venue too, so people not showing up can hurt them. Either through higher cost or lower revenue. Nisbett seemed to imply this in some of his late emails urging people to go to games.

Agree, it was one of his better games for us last week.

Still shit and should not have been in the team after the atrocious outing the previous week but whatever. Good to see Grego get a crack at it this week.
