Yeah I would’ve thought smith and Taylor not 2 defenders. I don’t see bond and max as like for like anymore. Max seems to provide more run now. I’d like to see Draper stay in over Taylor. Nice position to be in tbh though

But every cloud has a silver lining...... Honeymoon starts earlier
The selections are magnificent. Although I dont' think Sid is ready. I think he needs a proper pre season.
But Im happy he is in against North Melbourne. Their midfield is exceptional and the ideal game to test his progress.
It will be interesting to see our response and how the last few days has affected our momentum.
Before the BS hit the fan, I was worried we might take our foot off the pedal. Not likely now.

I'm comfortable with you continuing to take over team selections.
Some players only need a moment to turn the course of a match.
Well cannot believe the selections this week as picked on form and youth rather than favourite battler types .
Obviously Davis has had great input into team and now Nicks listening to.
Hopefully Dowling gets a good run in the middle and Draper starts on field as placings on site suggest with Smith as sub.

The best time to joke about a painful thing is when it's most painful, I've always said. It helps.
That was a 'told you do so' look from Davis. Nicks would have been pushing for Murphy and Schoenberg to come in and Davis can see they are both not up to it.
