That game was all right, but after 80h I was fed up and done with it. Couldn't imagine 2,500h ! Holy hell.

It is the game I will chuck on when I can't decide what to play or just want something to do. I have the game on mute and I will go around doing deliveries while watching some kind of video on my second monitor. I haven't actually played through the story in a long time.

A lot of my gaming aside from the actual multiplayer titles (rocket league) is like that. I'll play Gran Turismo, do the business operations in GTA V Online, let the AI fight in Injustice 2 or MK 11 etc... while I multi task and do other things. Or control the action myself, but mute the in game audio and have the radio on (radio sports commentary or general music).

I know it's a relativity light touch remaster, but I am loving Dawn of War Definitive Edition. Got it for ~$25 with the launch discount + discount for owning the original. Worth it I feel for all the QoL improvements like proper widescreen support, pathfinding and camera improvements, 64-bit support etc.

Not as good a deal as the id software free remasters of course, but better than others that are full price!

So pumped for DoW 4 now playing through the DoW campaign again for the first time since I got it ~20 years ago!

Fair. I can see the appeal of that. I think I played it almost every day for a month and burnt myself out on it. Loved the scenery in the game.

Getting Ready or Not for Father's Day, so tempted to crack it open early. Looks ****ing excellent.
Will be interested to hear your thoughts, been trying to find something new to sink my teeth into.

DoW 2 is one of my favoruite games ever so was hoping for that remaster. Picked up the DoW 1 remaster too, nice nostalgia trip.

Cyberpunk 2077

Don't faint I've finally started playing it on my new pc.........
That said I've only put an hour of actual game time into it, vs my 104ish hours of being on the title screen :p

For storyline purposes I've gone past the tutorial, and now officially in Act 1 after having woken up for the day ?

Only taken me a few months to get the motivation to try and not die as much as I did early on. The game looks sexy, I'm a sucker for the realistic wet puddles (for some reason seeing "realistic" water does it for me - not sure why.... but even dating back to Tomb Raider II on the playstation I just liked seeing it - and the detail in the puddle of the screenshots in the origianl Spider-man PS4 game. And GTA V's water physics etc0.

Anyhoo, can't promise I'll rush and finish it, but hopefully I'll get some way into beating it by Christmas time.

I have been crook lately and have spent more time on the PC than I should. I have come back to the Division 2. Great story and decent gameplay. I have also been playing the new Age of Wonders 4 expansion, way too much. One of the best turn based games out there.

downloaded Assassins Creed valhalla again last night

Might start it again and try to play it for more than a couple of hours

Must admit I gave up on this, the game is way too big (like Odyssey). Just became a chore rather than fun to play although I did like that mini game Olong or whatever it was called. I liked Origins although the DLC was ordinary imo. Haven't played the last two AC's. Any good?

recently got a PC for the first time since my old laptop carked it. CS2 is the staple, dont think ill ever get sick of this game like i have others, nothing comes close.

finished the new doom which i thought was super fun, gone back to eternal now which seems to perform worse, early days but i think i prefer TDA.

disco elysium is a time sinker as well, quite enjoying it!

Top Spin 2K25

Decided over the weekend to pause my default created player on the pc version..... and began a new created FEMALE player. Funny thing is I wanted to build different stats and have a different kind of player to my male one......

But so far the stats are largely the same (still have 13 more levels to reach to get max attribute points distributed) yet I am convinced the female player is more lethal. I'm also currently 5 - 1 online, having beaten my fair share of players with better stats than I currently do.

Also my game time has shot up dtpm 8 hours a fortnight to 20.. I'm addicted to the game again. In contrast my Dark Souls 3 average has dropped to under 10 hours.

Gears of War, what a ****ing game!!

Gave it a quick run on Xbox last night (free download for having the ultimate edition version on my account - funny thing is I got it for free with my Xbox One purchase 8+ years ago!), will probably double dip and get it on ps5 as well one day.

It was easily in my top 3 games on the Xbox 360 back in the day (didn't really warm to 2,3,4 and 5 though.... but the original still slaps for me).

Finally fed up with Cities Skylines 2. Each patch something different breaks. That's if it doesn't randomly crash. I've gone back to CS1, chucked on a few mods for quality of life (obviously Traffic Manager, but also node manager and a couple for detailing), but finally found some great LUTs that drastically improve the visuals without tanking performance like many of them do.

Me too, fair way in now, enjoying sniper. Precision. Grenade. as a combo, took a while to twig the cyberware. Reminds me of far cry minus the jungle/countryside.
Better half is on night shift this weekend so will get some quality time with it.
Just found the leg upgrade to jump higher and I am going to parkour the shit out of night city.

keen as **** to get into silksong when i get home from work tonight.

been on my steam wishlist since i was completing my undergrad and i've already finished my masters since then. 6 long years of radio silence.

I started playing it last night since it dropped at 10pm Perth time. Very much the same game again with all new everything so I am very happy. $29.50 on Switch too, bargain.
