I don't think there has been a story on this, just some here think he's cooked after a average year.
I think he still has something to offer after getting his shoulders fixed in the off season.
We still don't have any better 2 way runners than blake
Yes, but we have many better kicks than Blake.

Don’t think his snowball technique suits modern football.

The back surgery was the killer this season.
His kicking has been deplorable this year. The smiling assassin.

He is a new parent so maybe support back west (but his partner is from VIC?). There was also chatter about WCE after Acres was dropped.

Jay Clark is obsessed with getting Charlie out of Carlton and traded.
It’s been worse this year all the trade shit because of how boring and inconsequential a lot of games have been since about round 10.

The trade stuff is the only rubbish they can talk about instead.

Cannot wait for this season to be over and done with.

He probably is staying, but the above is meaningless. No one at Carlton is going to come out publicly saying he’ll be leaving, until a trade has been done.
GW coming out and saying Charlie is contracted, required, not going etc is Trade Negotiation 101. It's code for pony up or GAGF. There are few smarter operators than GW.

Every player is available for a price.

The thing is how often in the AFl do we actually see clubs throw crazy trade offers for star players?

It doesn’t happen hence why I can’t really see it happening.

I reckon he’s waiting to see if TDK’s departure will add a few more dollars to his offer.

100% agree. The minute it became known he was talking to other clubs besides Collingwood it became clear that he was playing the field for the best deal possible. That's his right as a free agent.

I reckon with TDK seemingly gone, we might put a little more money on the table for Jack, or maybe a trigger in the contract for an extra year. We'll be aiming for something tokenistic so we're not "over-paying", but enough that he feels like we've conceded something. Finding that sweet spot might be tough though - too little and he may be insulted enough to walk regardless.

I think crazy offers are pretty common place, but they rarely actually happen.
Eagles for Tim Kelly is the big one.
Or port for Horne-Francis.
Geelong for Cameron, although obviously that was due to being forced into a trade…

He ignored repeated warnings from mods i believe, so they banned him for good. He might return under a different user name next year but for now, he is enjoying life away from toxicity that can be bigfooty at times

Good for him. In a happy coincidence, BigFooty is also enjoying the lack of toxicity now :)

All the media are.

How desperate they all were for Nas to stay at St Kilda they are equally desperate to get a big name out of Carlton.

Jay Clarke. He’s the dude that suggested a straight swap for Ollie Florent and Harry McKay right? lol, what a ****ing clown.

Weird. Cringe. Pathetic.

Why? We have put a fair offer on the table taking into account his history of injuries. He can take it or leave it. If he wants more money then he can leave.

He wouldn't have played more than an 100 games with any other club. Good luck to him.

So we give Charlie (under contract until 2029) and get another under performing small in Bailey (RFA at the end of 2026) who averages 1.09 goals a game. No Thanks. Start with Lohmann and go from there.
I'm not in favour of trading Charlie for just about anyone, but Bailey is pretty far from an under performing small.

He's pretty close to the most damaging mid/fwd in the comp in 2025.
