Lions were clearly the better team and the scoreboard flattered Hawthorn in the end. Wild that some fans are pretending that the umpires were the difference 😂
The umps were attrocious and favoured brisbane. Hawks would have gone close if they were evenly as terrible.

Lions also dominated the hawks through the middle for the whole game.

Both can be true.

Simpletons who don't like personalities in the game hate him, I appreciate that. People familiar with his off-field work all acknowledge he's a good guy, even those who think he's a flog on the field.
lol- you didn’t answer the question. It’s his on field persona that is the issue - nobody knows what he is like off the field. And on the field he is a top goose. And apparently a bit of a sniper into the bargain.

Don't give Elixuh ammo.

Difference was the midfield, which has been the story of our year. Brisbane are a lot more polished going forward, where's Worpel and Nash efficiency was terrible. Good game.

Oh right. I'm sure the end of season trip thing was made up, too.

Oof. You’re not taking this well. Won’t be getting much sleep tonight will you. I wish you well.

dude, you'd be doing the same if the decision happened against the lions. the only thing BS was a match deciding incorrect decision.
No I wouldn’t. In fact if you check my post history you’ll see I don’t think our game is meant to be umpired perfectly. It’s a game of interpretation. Complain if you want but it’s idiotic to blame umps for a loss IMO

Not as bad as Meek non holding the ball that lead to a goal or the “front on” free to Lewis which lead to a goal.
Seemed like there were a few calls when Lions looked to be pulling away that dragged Hawks back in. At one stage it seemed impossible for Lions to get a HTB call. Then after Rosebury let Meek fend off and stride away before being tackled, he pinged young Ashcroft I think who had about a nanonsecond in comparison and put his arm up to protect himself more than anything, which led directly to a Hawk goal.

But then obviously you have the calls at the end, that people want to magnify. The fact is it was poorly officiated all night. 27 free kicks suggests a lot of scragging, holding, blocking and non HTB calls went by.

The better team won and looking forward to another opportunity to take on the Lions. You’ve chopped us up the last few times with your ball use, but within those games, we have also shown if we can get pressure on the ball carrier and higher up the field we can force turnovers. Hopefully with the break, we can maintain the pressure for longer this time around.
