Chris Fagan in his presser post the Hawks win said Jarrod Berry and Lachie Neale will definitely play in the QF, actually said Berry could have played last night, they just wanted to be extra cautious.

Ins- Jarrod Berry, Lachie Neale.

Outs- Sam Marshall, James Tunstill.

Sub- Is an insanely difficult decision, Reville, Lohmann are the only 2 options I can see happening.

OR- Does Ty Gallop go out and we go smaller and Tunstill stays as the sub? Is smaller a good option v the Cats?

Win and we rest up again for a home Prelim and a possible 3rd GF appearance on the trot.

Well summed up

I think we could definitely afford to go shorter given the opponent and the ground.

Our key forwards did bugger all on the weekend and we still generated a lot of good scoring opportunities.

And the other wildcard is McKenna. Hopefully plays VFL this weekend and we may lean to his experience as the sub

Don't disagree with your post at all 👊

I'd still lean to Gallop over Tunstill and Bruce as sub who we know can impact a game in a variety of position.

The two Cats games this year.

Round 3: The Gabba, 9-point win to Lions
Who played: Payne, Answerth, Hipwood, Fort & Day. Sub Reville.
Gardiner did not play

Out: Oscar & McKenna

Round 15: GMBHA, 41-point win to Lions
Who Played: Answerth, Hipwood, Fort, Day & McLachlan. Sub Reville
Gardiner did not play

Out Injured: Payne and Ah-Chee

So in order to win, we need to drop Dizzy :p

That kick Bruce hit early in the game was chefs kiss. If he could get more involved in games he'd be absolutely lethal. Like him as a sub.

If it's a wing we need, Marshall gets the nod over Bruce every day of the week IMO. As a sub or half forward though, it's Bruce for me.

We’ll be playing Friday night at the MCG. Book your flights!
I reckon we will get the day game on Saturday.
Suns and Freo the night game which will be a twilight over in Perth.
GWS Hawks on Thursday night and Adelaide Pies on Friday night.

Could see Ty Gallop playing a purely defensive role on Tom Stewart.

Already confirmed(on fox footy) that we will be the Friday night game. >

"Then Geelong and Brisbane will clash at the MCG on Friday night, just under 12 months after their classic preliminary final that saw the Lions triumph."

Not really up to date with Oscar McInerney news, is he a chance for finals or still injured? Fort always does a pretty solid job in his absence anyway.

I know you can not get guest tickets to the Grand Final but I can not recall if there are guest passes available to the other Finals.... very much doubt the MCG will be a sell out for our QF v the Cats.

Anyone with a better memory than me can recall? Thought I'd shout my grandson down for the game for his 18th birthday present, his party is the next night so if the return flight gets cancelled/delayed at least he is with us.🎉🎂🥳🦁

Ok sorry, been working and haven’t had much of a chance to ready or post.

I'd say Oscar is almost no chance of coming back for the game, has been playing reserves and has looked not his normal self, only chance would be if he has very good game in the VFL final this Saturday and they decide to take Day out for him IMO.

Note- I don't think we would play all 3 of Fort, Day and McInerney in the one team(too slow around the ground) so young gun Ty Gallop stays in.

Do we know when it goes on sale yet?

Fort has been in good form as was excellent last night.

I think there’s only one way Oscar gets back into the senior team at this point, but out of respect for the football gods i’m not going to verbalise that thought.

Fort has been more than serviceable and is remarkably mobile. Often see him floating back and helping out, proving a link up option, or getting his hands dirty when the ball goes to ground in the middle.

Even if Oscar is 💯
It’s hard to imagine him coming back into the team.
Unless they feel Day is not working and go with he and Fort.
But I hope not.
