Without Souv we need one of them or Finnbar to play, so Darling can settle inside 50.
Shouldn't be too hard to find a better option than CCJ or Brynn, so we can take both of them off the books.

Thought he performed well last year and battled hard in the games this year

Would be stiff imo

Don’t see the point in getting another state league ruck to replace him so unless there is a decent backup ruck at afl level looking to come over in hopes of us playing 2 rucks then this would be a change for a sake of change

This footy department must rate CCJ. Got the contract extension and was starting 22 before the Achilles and got straight back in the team after he was fit enough.

CCJ could be anything. You've got one there.

Yes, I've not seen anything really creative or crafty from him, nor any real aggression that may help overcome the size issues. Not saying he's soft by any means, but he needs more of an edge to overcome the size issues.

I think all the blokes Chad has said will go, will go plus Bergman and Kal Dawson.
I saw a post after this on another thread, Chad said nothing will be announced publicly until after the Syd.

Has made it into the afl with two clubs and been delisted quickly by two clubs.

Just doesn’t have the step up in him. Could make a motza playing country or metro leagues.

I'll go largely against the grain and say congrats to him. Has been around three clubs, seemed a terrific bloke who was willing to do what was asked of him, uprooted his life to fly across the country to play for a team who appears to be attempting to weaponise incompetence, won like three times in three years and still fronted up with a smile. Kicked some lovely goals at important times and I'm sure has had an impact on our younger players beyond what's visible day to day. There's a lot of entitled footballers on our list who have been top end picks and told how good they are from Day 1, and I imagine it wouldn't be a bad thing for them to see someone who's done it the tough way.
