at his best hes a solid wingman, 2024 he was a shining light.

Not damaging with disposal, doesnt find the ball enough and is easily exposed in defence. Gone when his contract is up IMO.

Not to their endurance level.
Its a weakness that we need to address via draft or trade period.
But from what I can see he’s the best option currently on our list.

Problem is he doesn’t have a defensive bone in his body

Granted, doesn’t have Kmacs hardness, dropping back into the hole. But I wouldn’t be wasting/developing Trainor or one of our more skilled players in that role.
Heard this year that the defensive wingman averages around 1 possession for every km covered. It’s a thankless role.

Trainor's future is down back. Yze said he's only been playing on the wing to find a spot for him in the side with the backline so stacked.

Unfortunately we have another year of him running around and making FA impact is hopeless in contests and is a short stepper.

Too soft how he's lasted 6 years going into 7 is mystifying.

Ralphsmith played his role well in the games he played. He was our 11th highest rated player in 2025 based on average player rating, and that isn't that easy to achieve playing wing.

He's knows his limitations now and is efficient with disposal, he uses his pace well and can tackle.
