There you go Joffaboy all the iron clad ins and outs of the contract details straight from 'THE' website as requested
Wow, I stand corrected, the intricate details of his contract laid bare.
Some people just aren't across it like others šŸ˜•

Not hearing good things about Arie :(

On Arie:
Drafted: Round 5, Pick #62 2023 National Draft
Height: 194cm Weight: 91kg

Yes he is a lovely long kick, but what position is he better at that others on our list?
Including what we think our list will be in 2026.

  • Whom will he displace?
  • Where can he improve his game?
  • And while he is a lovely long kick, his short kicking game is not the best.
  • He is not very quick, his defensive skills are substandard and his intercept marking game is well below others.

Down back:
Wilkie, Taura, Howard, Aleer, Caminiti are all in front of him.

And I would add Keeler (whom I see mainly as a forward) to that list with his rapidly changing body, footy IQ, good skills including that that while not as long a kick as Arie, he is a better kick overall.

Barrat the jury is still out on. But he is contracted till end of 2027, plus at 18yr 9mth is very young still.

If the Club was actually considering SOSOS, then you would take him rather than Arie if you need a list spot.

Elsewhere?
I really cannot see where.

Forward? He does not strike me as a forward, plus up forward he would need to displace all of Sharman, Owes, Pou and Keeler.

Wing? Does not have the pace or running capacity

If we are bring in FA(s), Trades as well as Draftees then our list is exceptionally tight for 2026. For example it could be Arie vs Jackson Voss (who will be 25 in 2026)as a FS.

So it would not surprise me at all if he gets the short straw.

He's right about one thing mate. Nobody here has shown any proof that Max's contract has games triggers. It may well have... but asking to see proof isn't over the top.

Things are getting ridiculously cliquey around here. Anyone questions anything by the club or doesn't take for gospel something said by the rose coloured glasses brigade and they get jumped on straight away.

It's getting like a bunch of 12 year old girls.
He categorically stated there were no triggers in either contract. Do your same standards apply to him as well?

JSOS = Jack Silvagni

I think Ross said Max signed for "unders". You'd have to be asking questions of Max's management if he signed for unders and had termination clauses inserted as well.
Who said anything about termination clauses. It was about performance clauses and would be consistent regarding signing for 'unders'. I.e. backing himself to get bonuses etc.
