If it comes to a choice between Jack Silvagni and Leek Aleer, I think JSOS should get the nod. He is a free agent and a much better performed player than Allir.

It means we could use the draft pick touted for Aleer somewhere else.

You would be crazy not to take Silvagni and save the pick.

Excited for you guys, was rapt when Naz signed, you are really building something.

The last operation was completed after having scans and ultrasounds completed whilst max was under a training load that apparently showed damage to his meniscus in an awkward position that was apparently only visible under a training load where they could replicate the issue.

We will have to wait and see, hard to be confident his body will hold up at this point.

I’ve been ticked off about the handling of him since the first set back.

Million dollar assets need to be given that level of service to ensure they are on the park.

Kills me we put him through 2 arthroscopes before we did the proper job to diagnose it.

A few over on the Carlton board seem to think that JSOS has chosen us

He has played 83 games put of a possible 150+ he has been on a list.

Didn't realise Curnow's injury woes were that bad, but regardless it seems unlikely he suddenly starts kicking 50+ a season. What Curnow pulled off is unlikely to say the least.

Has only kicked more than 40 once his entire career. Next year will he year 8 at the club.

My only concern is he is injury prone.

An average second ruck? He'd be the best second ruck in the game outside of Luke Jackson. Keeler is a better kick, doesn't have half the strength, tank or aerial ability of Marshall at this stage though. Besides, if King goes down again I don't see why they both can't play, if not Keeler has been far from breaking the door down in the VFL. Marshall may also be the most loved bloke at the club so I'd factor that in to your calculations as well.

If the ruck rules change to stop the wrestling in ruck contests, Marshall will struggle a lot in the ruck I reckon

2020: 1.22 goals PG / 2.33 scores PG

2021: 1.98 goals PG / 3.4 scores PG

2022: 2.36 goals PG / 4.22 scores PG

2023: 2.8 goals PG (removing the Melbourne one when he was off in the first 10 seconds) / 4 scores PH

2024: 1.58 goals PG / 2.58 scores PG


You get max anywhere near fit and he is an elite tall forward in this competition.

I really hope we don't get Ryan. Don't see why they'd be looking at him. Average performer. A little more than a goal a game. Nearly 29. Surely not worth it for a pick higher than a third rounder. What hole in the list does he fill exactly? If they spend a decent pick on him, I'd be nervous about what they're doing.
