Since we have been struggling to get out of contract small forward Lachlan Murphy's signature for 2026 - we should look to pick up recently delisted Jed McEntee from the Power.
Please no.

Getting TDK, Flying Ryan and SOS (rumoured) and keeping Nas has been a very good off season so far. Anything on top of that makes it next level inc Flanders. They have recruited well the last 4-5 years and do also have some young quality in their squad.

Not a basket case club like Weagles, Kangas and Power.

I hope every club they're trying to get players from is parading about in the media like Ross was, making it clear that they won't be looking to do deals.

TDK on that contract is such a basketcase club move.

SA's Harry Lemmey delisted by Carlton, only 21 and a 201cm 95kg athletic Forward/Ruck, could make a solid argument that he might be a better option as a rookie than the 30 year old Chris Burgess list wise given big lads take a bit of time.

Better to have a prospect that might be good enough to one day play AFL, then one that isn't and won't

Possibly, but you've also got to wonder why Carlton delisted a 21 year old key forward/ruck, especially as his numbers look ok at VFL level from a quick glance.

We're talking a 1 year rookie deal here too see what he's got, showed plenty as a big gangly junior and it is Carlton after all, not the happiest place to be developing in recent years. 201cm athletic talls don't get any shorter as they develop

Looks like he has played totally a forward.
Stats dont look bad.

Has a bit of Ian Downsborough about him.

Is he purely a forward or can he be converted into a KPD? Many failed KPFs make decent KPDs. Firmly of the belief we should trade one of Butts or N.Murray whilst the market is hot for a KPD and this is one way to replenish (don't trust Borlase - limited footballer).

I would be interested in getting Hollands from Carlton. Would come cheap, is classy and talented, and wanted to be drafted by the Crows as he is a tragic.
Off field issues aside. We still need some more class in the midfield, and he could be a good get.
I wanted him if we didnt go with Tt.
Get him around Dawson and ANB - those issues will resolve, however might be dangerous if the rumours about adding Clarry are true though....

Burgess can step in and hold down a role. Kenney has no evidence of that yet
Yeah and one is 21 and the other 30, Burgess is a very good SANFL/VFL footballer, he's right at his limit and has been for years now. How long does he have left even as back up AFL depth?
