Really depends on many things.
A. Who is available
B. Who has been bid on and if not, do they want to bid on them
C. What compo picks have been handed out and are teams offering anything significant for either of the picks Richmond own
D. Areas of need V BPA, or is a BPA within an area of need
E. Do they like someone/rate someone on their board higher than others might therefore can trade back a few spots and enhance next years pick haul, or gain a player or two from another club within the trade and then take the player they like at that later pick

Firstly I think Richmond will get Rosas Jnr for almost nothing from GC, covering the small forward need.

Honestly, if it were up to me, I would try to trade one back and gain a good player in a position of need or a future first from someone whilst still keeping a top ten pick this year and use the early pick on a BPA, then the second one to get a quick line breaking mid.

I think WCE take Duff-Tytler then bid on Annable, Brisbane match, then WCE take Duursma.

Richmond could and should bid on one or both of Gc academy kids, which will be matched, then Tigers would probably pick Sharp. Whether they do trade the second pick back or not they should then grab Grjl with that second pick.
Thanks mate, appreciate the in-depth reply.

Correct about the WA rucks. 100% mate. There are no better ruck than Van Rooyen (2026) and Walsh (2027)
Exactly this. We need an experienced, league average ruckman right now to get our kids used to being able to play off of an afl level one, in the draft its mids mids mids this year. Let BVR or Walsh be our ruck for the next 15 years.

Oh, at first I thought you were talking about the WA 18's. You mean WCE ?

Not sure how many people do
I wouldn't take him with Adelaide's 1st of course but I'd certainly take him with one of our 3rd's, KPP's that can chop out in ruck have value IMO if available in that range.

You don't rate Curtin jr in your top 50?
For me, he has dropped right down. 52 in fact. I have stated before that there is a huge bunch that could be rated from about 30 onwards in any spot and I wouldn't bat an eye lid. I personally do not rate him much anymore, but in the draft yes, he will get picked up in that late 2nd early 3rd round I believe.
These are rankings not a mock draft.

Jev Pou @ 24
Fincher @ 27
That's a helleva rise for 'The Finch'
What's your take on Liam Hetherton

I have always rated Fincher, as can be seen in multiple responses on different forums about him, but yes, he has risen on my boards due to such consistency and his level of performance in the higher grade.
Liam, I believe, is a sleeper in this draft due to his injury. Big hands, great kick and very good leading patterns already, plenty of traits to work with but hasn’t been able to show that throughout this year or improve his game due to missing so much footy however he would be a great get for any team.

I really rate Kye, think he'd be a big chance to be bid on by us with our second rounders.

Like his run and dare, the fact he doesnt take a backward step is a huge plus in my book too.

Less then 1 month ago you didn't even have Robey in your top 52... now he is 5th?. How can one go from being unranked and not even mentioned to 5th highest rated in the draft? Is it because everyone is talking about him now and that has changed your opinion?

Likely because he’s played basically no midfield prior, and is currently absolutely belting other teams in finals series? I’m no draft expert but I didn’t even know the fella before his 40 and 3. It’s not unrealistic that he’s bolted so hard. Biggest late riser since Oliver and that’s coming from a lot of people that know a lot more about the draft than you or I

I had notes on Robey from his games against gippy, oakleigh and gwv early in the year as someone who could rip games apart, uses hips to shrug tackles, raises arms in tackles to dispose ball, great vision and size, can he play another position, down back maybe, running capacity?? one to watch. I know melbourne, collingwood and richmond liked him, maybe more clubs.
Then he disappeared, but came back with a bang. Playing a different position, showing his running capacity and the afl level traits that had him toying with his peers through the middle. His talent and position on my boards was now undeniable, and his rank, in my eyes, is justified, I was the first to rank him this high and I am pretty sure others will follow suit, he earned it.

Fair play then, that's just a crazy rise
