Yeah similar to us.

Missus and I couldn't even get two tickets sat together at 11.15am... which makes zero sense but we had to take what we could for fear of missing out, missus was losing her mind and I had to work.

Ended up with seats on opposite sides of the stadium!! Have to watch from one of the bars I guess 🤷‍♀️
So strange how it works. My son didn't log in until after 3pm (general public) and got 3 seats together.

Ticket Master frustrates me so much! I got my ticket earlier and I was forced into 'best available' but a was wanting a certain area. So after many attempts I settled on close enough.

I logged on at 3pm with the general admission and there was so many seats left and could choose off the seat map exactly where I wanted to sit! Why do general admission get treated so much better than members? It ridiculous 🤬
now you’ve made me sad

Yeah we're not fussy, watched the 2013 GF together from standing room so have had much worse seats.

But it's just the shittiest system known to man.

The seat map would have been a good option for you proper members, but let me tell you, it f**king sucked for us race-against-time plebs.

I was frantically scrolling around and zooming in for any hint of more than a single seat, and every time I found some by the time I could click on them and hit the buy button it would tell me they'd been snapped up already. So I'd refresh the page and start again. This must have happened about 15 times, all the while my 10 minute limit kept counting down.

I would have much preferred to just say I want X amount of tickets and then just accept whatever they threw at me.

So yeah, I guess I'm agreeing with you that they've got it completely ass-backwards for the different priority levels.

I was trying to help work friends around 3pm and this kept happening, so we gave up - well done of your perseverence

I ended up double booking yesterday. The first order didn’t charge my CC so then got nervous and rebooked via another card. But long story short, have got a spare 5 tickets in the Platinum Terrace which costs $450 ea (includes drinks and food). I haven’t been charged yet even though the order went through so should be easy to switch over to someone else on Monday).

If anyone is keen on this please let me know otherwise I will call the club on Monday and plead my case.

Me too. Joined early, put in waiting room and over 8500 in front of me when I joined the queue. Got to the front clicked 'Are you a member?' and got the wheel of death. Very frustrating. Happy enough with level 3 in the end, even though 308 isn't great compared to our usual seats.

I reckon people may have been caught out with this "Are you a member?" thing. I didn't have to click on that option. I think there were two different ticket pages that could be accessed via various means. Below is a screenshot if you search Ticketmaster a certain way. Some people may have found themselves on the page (by whatever means, not necessarily from the page below) where the red button below would take you. This would give you the "Are you a member?" thing. Whereas the blue button below would take you somewhere different where that "Are you a member?" option was not required and you just had to click on something to enter barcodes.

I don't know why they have to make it so confusing. Even buying tickets, the options were "Member upgrade" or something like that ... I'm thinking for a split second ... hang on, what does that even mean? What upgrade? Upgrade what?

We weren't tricked by this - tickets just kept disappearing as we went to click on them. I'm a little bit annoyed that they believed they were equally entitled to seats as members, but tried to help them out anyway.

am so thankful hubby got tickets for us early on

This has pissed me off for a while actually

For non reserved seat members, we have this issue for every game

If you want to cash in your members tix then they auto allocate you and its crap but if you're not a member then you can select off the map.

I take different people each week (the main perk of being a non reserved seat, can sit with whoever you like) but it's frustrating that we can't choose where to sit, different seats are better for different guests. (We do get the option of category so its not 100% terrible but its a feature that we get shafted on just for being members)

I just went straight through the game on the app (Searched Fremantle) and got the spinning wheel of death like someone posted earlier

The app actually did give directions to click the "are you a member" if the "Enter Member Code" option wasn't there but the issue was that just put you in a loop of joining the queue, going straight through and getting the spinning circle of death again.

So clicking the "are you a member" wasn't even a solution, it was just bugged out unfortunately

As for the member upgrade thing, thats the standard for non reserved seat members all year, you can usually upgrade to higher categories or purchase tix for your mates to sit with at that stage (after entering your barcode) It was pretty irrelevant for finals fixturing, it should've just said pick a category or something.

Got 2 tickets for sale. Face value. Can't go. Family commitment. Not happy.
Block 547 (Level 5, Southern Wing), Row 11, 47 and 48. Close to or on the very end I reckon.

Ticket transfer is now available. Any recommendations for which app - or website to use for the least pain? Last time I had to transfer a ticket it took my a full hour of the proverbial backwards and forwards and roundabouts...

I've always used the Ticketmaster app and SMS option to directly send the link to the recipient.

Sold. 🥵

Couldn’t handle the inundation of interest 🤭😖😆

I’m taking a chance posting a new thread but probably most posters won’t be reading the stickied thread so here goes. (Mods - maybe unsticky and merge if you don’t want another thread?).

Upshot of that long-winded intro…

I have two tickets to sell. Block 131, row 9. $89 each + cost of booking fee = $185.

First in gets them.
