I've watched The Sopranos twice-through, and I've watched Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul once through (plus several Breaking Bad episodes multiple times). I'm in season 1 of The Wire at the moment (trying to finish Homicide: Life on the Street first, which was created by the same person as The Wire), and so far, The Sopranos just shades Breaking Bad for best TV show.
Interested in your view after you've finished The Wire. I haven't seen Homicide yet but have it on my hard drive ready to go (have read the book Homicide by David Simon though, brutal).

Thumbs up for Sopranos Autopsy too

Let me guess, was this a female at your workplace?

I would get out of that environment if I were you, sounds like a bunch of ****ing tossers.

Actually different "friend" I had known for years. I mean I'm all for difference of opinion as we can't all like the same things, but cutting off contact is a bit rich!

Few episodes into season 3.

I'm watching one or two episodes a day so it's keeping me interested and I imagine it would have been even better to watch back in the day.

I thought they killed off a few characters too quickly in season 2 while I thought their storylines had way more to give.

It's a bit repetitive with the killings and therapy sessions but finally we got some answers at the start of season 3.

The funeral episode for Tonys mother was great tv.

You are in for such a treat; so jealous

I just finished the final episode.

I thought Stage 5 and Remember When were some of the best episodes of the whole series and I could have watched hours of Junior in the mental hospital, I feel he was a bit underused in the final season while there was way too much on AJ.

Now I can begin reading through this whole thread from the start.

I can't stand that Janice campaigner though. ****. The cabin epsisode was the next episode after that then I went to bed.

I've seen that same episode 3 times in as many weeks I reckon and it's Gold rather than old.

Yep, Happy as a clam watching her get on a bus after killing Ritchie thinking that was going to be the end of her in the show.

Really annoyed that they put her with Bobby which mean't Junior became more irrelevant.

Biggest and simplest clue is Bobby at the half way end of S06.."it all goes black" to T on the boat. And it did.

Still love that 3 yrs on it still causes debate...much like my other fave LOST finale will still be talked about in another 3 years.

These producers were able to do it their way...so many other shows in TV history didn't.

I think Tony bringing up the Godfather murder a few times through out the show was a nice little hint on how it ended for him as well.

I suggest giving this sight a go as well if you haven't already. I had a lot of fun a few years back reading the episode breakdown & then watching the episode or vice versa. Doing that does open up a whole new way of looking at a lot of what is actually going on & the true genius of David Chase.

Bookmarked for my next marathon viewing!

How do you think Chrissy's intervention went ?...

If anyone likes watching reaction vids. " Blind Wave " and " The Normies " are watching this atm

There was also a theory that Chris had flipped just before the car accident and his death at Tony's hands - I'll have to look into that more because that seems far more circumspect but the hat Chris was wearing always bothered me (similar to the hat with the mic worn by the other associate who had flipped).

I thought there was a scene where Tony takes off Chris's cleaver hat to make sure he wasn't wearing a wire.
