He didn’t. The club knew my analysis was sound and drafted Lincoln McCarthy to rectify the issue, before moving Taylor on. McCarthy takes plenty of contested marks and is the same size as Taylor.

With the changes to points? Probably. That or we trade someone else out to get the points. Matching is going to be tougher this year than before, and that's before we learn whatever changes the AFL are about to make to the process to placate St Kilda's moaning.

Not immediately, no. But who's to say they won't become better players? I suppose it depends how much the club believes in them.

Also, how many injury reclamation projects can we take on at once? Next year we have Answerth, Payne and Coleman all out to begin the season, we're adding Allen and possibly Draper, and who knows if McCarthy, and Big O will ever be back. That's a big chunk of the best 22 either with a current or recent long-term injury. And Ridley has played 19 games in two years.

blowing up your draft hand to put a spite bid on annable sounds like a winning play. you should definitely do it.

In my opinion Ridley is a sicily type of player. Medium type defender who can intercept and distribute the ball.

Would fetch a high price but his injuries have probably brought that down. Maybe a late first rounder in Brisbane's case.
