Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

Slightly annoyed that you may have unlocked band 1 compo for Carlton but it makes me happier knowing they put in the hard yards and finally turned him into a competent player...only for him to leave straight after.

Even you though you follow Collingwood (whom, against the trend, I actually don't mind) we can all celebrate any hardship, insult, humiliation, turmoil or any other difficulty that befalls Carlton. The more the better.

I dont know, im not crowing about JSOS.

If JSOS and Aleer are coming were paying $1.3-$1.4m to cover Battle and get Tauru, all this really does to me is make it more important Tauru properly becomes a star.

I also hate the narrative elements here (JSOS running back to Daddy, SOS' obsession with the blues).

It is what it is and i hope it makes us better on field but im not quite as chuffed as many on here seem.

The clubs immediate future literally turned on a dime the moment NAS signed. While not overly fussed about JSOS, I’m just loving how many of the same journos inferring that the place was about to implode are now lauding our aggressive recruiting strategy and our unwavering desire to get better. Obviously some delistings required to fit in this new wave of talent. While he has some admirers here I reckon Heath is gone. 5 years (or 4 ½ really) on the list for 4 senior games. In those games his average output is 3 kicks, 6.8 disposals. 1.8 marks. 0.8 goals and 2.5 tackles. Glad he was rewarded for his perseverance, but IMO just hasn’t shown enough. I really doubt he gets a 6th year as Dodson has already gone past him. Jones, Shoe, Ronny and a few others would be very nervous.
