To be fair, GC have Rioli, Noble and Powell all who can distribute off HB.

Frederick and Bolton will keep their opponents busy up the ground and in the forward line.

IF what we are after is rotatable midfielders then we play NOD and Johnson and not worry about their FWD nous, they are there to rotate in and out, be accountable on their opponent and get up and back. Don't forget we have a wing to cover as well.

Don't forget Jeffery. Uwland has some dash as well. They are #2 and #3 for GC rebound 50's per game.

Weller up the field is also like a half back who can run and kick.

It's the main worry for me.

I think a lot of people are assuming Fyfe will be sub, but maybe they start him on the ground given that we have Wags, Switta out and Johnson still not 100% from his ankle injury. Noddy and Simpson in - Simpson as the sub.

Yeah they can all rebound pretty well except for Collins. Our talls need to apply pressure.

We get slower with Wags and Switta out, we don't want to then go slower again..

It has to be the safer option and just put Banfield forward in the same defensive role. He can do that whilst Bolton, Frederick and/or Reid play Switta’s role. Not all that fussed.
Banfield is right there as the replacement, nothing drastic.
Sharp for Wagner if Johnson isn’t fit.
Walker for Switkowsi. He plays in the defence.

I’m warming to the idea of Walker playing a shutdown role on Rioli, their other backs will have their hands full trying to nullify Bolton, Frederick and Reid. Leave Banners in the back line.

Switta out and Wagner too definitely hurts.
However we still should have enough to get it done on our home deck.

Would leave a very sour taste on the season if we were to get tripped up here after all the good work. A home final against finals novices is as good as we could ever have hoped for.

Dudley? Sorry but he ll be massively exposed across half forward v Rioli, Noble and Uwland.

Even as sub that brings in Fyfe starting.

Rather Banfield at half forward and bring in Sharp or Walker who are both fitter and versatile

I watched his last Peel game. The optimist in me says the extra weeks rest might help as he looked sore in his previous game. Possibly could be better for the rest.
