That's because Daddy has looked after him...To gain SOS at 900k and loose Wilkie on much less is a mind bending way of building a list.

Ah, that explains why a bunch of 41 year Olds won a final last night. The game is changing. Getting quicker every year. Especially if they bring in the last touch rule.
Yep they're changing the rules because coaches keep slowing it downAh, that explains why a bunch of 41 year Olds won a final last night.
Isnt he from the Levi Casboult school of kicking?

Sounds like an Agatha Christie novel character.Humphrey Walter Moyle
I can envisage Walter OR Humphries being a part of the deal but zero chance they’ll both be a part of the deal…absolutely zero chanceWalter and Humphries please . Flanders is too similar to Cerra and others .
Do we have any interest in Merrett? He is an absolute weapon
No he’s not, much more reliable across juniors and early into his career.Isnt he from the Levi Casboult school of kicking?
RubbishWalter is average. Another Jonathon Patton
Hopefully our one wears pants off the field.Walter is average. Another Jonathon Patton
Flanders kicking off half back would be a need for us !!Walter in a trade for Charlie makes sense.
Charlie going to GC alongside King is gonna make it tough for Walter to break into the seniors. They also have Read as a fwd/ruck who was taken top 10 in the same draft as Walter.
Carlton losing Curnow as well as TDK and JSOS as other talls, plus Lemmey being delisted, means there is a genuine need for another KPF to partner Harry. HOK might be able to do the job, but he's still a work in progress and might be better off focusing on his ruck craft.
Flanders name keeps getting thrown around, and it's clear why. Like Lij when he was up on the Gold Coast, Flanders is just getting squeezed out of his preferred position by an Academy-assisted midfield cohort. Means that, while contracted, GC would likely be amenable to letting him go without much of a fight, and a club who can give him a 50/50 split between on-ball and either HBF or HFF could get a real boost from him.
For me, those two still aren't enough for a contracted Charlie though. Mostly because of the reasons above - Flanders is already surplus to their immediate needs, and Walter becomes somewhat redundant if they secure Charlie, so they're not giving up anything they're really gonna miss. As such, I'd be asking for their future first as well, and would happily throw in either a later pick of our own, or any fringe player that we have who interests them (unlikely).
It's all fact mate. That's what's disappointing.Utter rubbish.
Which is an issueCripps and Clarke are tied at the hip.
Voss was very blunt about him on SEN and can’t remember hearing many negative comments from him about our players over the journey. Almost feels like Dogs re. Jamarra.
Hard to tell if it’s a public “get your act together” message or if it’s already a foregone conclusion that he’s paid out or traded.
He's a midfielder that's able to rack up possessions, but his disposal is limited. He doesn't have a high hurt factorI feel like the legend of Sam Flanders has become very overrated around these parts over the last few weeks.
As I've read on in the thread, to add to this, I think there's 0 chance Humphrey (not ies) is inluded. He's a superstar in waiting, next year or the year after he will be a top 10 player, mark my words. He's a genuine game breaker with an explosive point of difference, very De Goey/Dustin/Petracca/Dangerfiels like, he just needs to get his fitness to AFL level to sustain the impact over a full game - much like those same guys.Jed Walter is a physical freak. Think Charlie pre-knee injuries.
At this point he's more athlete than footballer and learning the nuances of the game is where he's at, kind of your classic key forward who will take some time, but when he clicks he'll absolutely bloody click, much like Charlie.
There's a reason he's said the player he models his game on is Charlie. A key difference, though, is Jed chases and tackles like his life depends on it.
I don't think the Suns would make that trade tbph, unless he really, really wants out.
GC thought movement and distribution off half back was a glaring hole in their list so targeted Rioli and Noble. Flanders is just a neat kick, not anything more than that.Flanders kicking off half back would be a need for us !!
But an upgrade on anything we currently have……GC thought movement and distribution off half back was a glaring hole in their list so targeted Rioli and Noble. Flanders is just a neat kick, not anything more than that.

Yep, I'd take walter and a pick.Jed Walter is a physical freak. Think Charlie pre-knee injuries.
