5. Blicavs-Fort was rubbish but he was super on 48 hours notice. A marvel
4. Mannagh-best pressure game I've seen from him (and hes had some great ones this year). We won because of our hunt and his was second to none and his class setup the burst in the 2nd.
3. Atkins-hes so underrated but 42 pressure acts in a final. 3rd highest pressure points ever in a final you can't not rate him.
2. Dempsey-did some stupid things like that dumb inside kick in the 50 that gave a 2 goal swing. But man his running workrate is crazy and hes such a good mark for that size. Had some class moments.
1. Stewart-ths fact that we had insane pressure and brisbane had to dump kick helped but that was the Stewart of old. Still one of the best interceptors in the comp.

Dangerfield, Henry and Close were bloody good too. The Irish boys were exceptional in their roles as well (forget Rayner's umpire meltdown goals). We could do with a top 10 MVP for last night.

I agree it was impossibly tough. I've just realised I left out Stewart who was probably in the best 3 players on the ground. And you can say Dempsey was almost BOG too (I had him there as his prolific creativity and scoreboard destruction completely ripped Brisbane apart when they still had spirit). Yet these types of performances are missing out in some posters votes because there's too many to squeeze in!

I'll also go with this, and add an HM to Danger, I thought his attack at the ball at times was vital and turned easy lions possessions to open 50/50s or even resulted in open Cats disposals. Can't under estimate that manic attack at the ball in finals.
