Nothing to do with Hawthorn. Same problems were apparent in the Collingwood and Geelong games (except both were clearly better on the night).

The obsession with the AFL making sure Vic sides win for the coin is nauseating. It’s fine if you’re content with the fact it’s a business rather than a professional sporting comp
Umpiring was fine, why would the afl prefer hawthorn go on instead of the giants? Afls preference is always the northern state teams. Umpires aren't instructed to fix results, sometimes they just make bad decisions. Take the tin foil hat off.

I know you lot don't like facts (second highest free kick for differential in comp), but history says the EF winners rarely win in week 2.

It has nothing to do with what I'm saying.. you're hoping Hawthorn lose. You'd be saying the same thing if Hawthorn finished on the top of the ladder Rod

I couldn't give a **** who wins or loses, doesn't impact my life either way.

I do expect Hawks to lose though. For all the splooging of EF winners every year, they hardly win in week 2. Last year a recent example.

GWS I cannot get a read on. They can do nothing for 2 quarters then kick 7 unanswered goals. That alone marries up with their form all year. So unpredictable. Hawthorn are putting together 4 quarters now and looking really dangerous. I feel like they’ll get past Adelaide but hit the wall with Geelong. Got to be hot favourites next year though.

GWS have some big decisions to make re approach, consistency, older players and coaching. Kingsley would really want to start getting something from this group.
