It’s as bad a the officiating in the round ball game… VAR technology is killing football and I fear that it will do the same to the AFL if not carefully controlled…I remember joking with a brother that the umpire had ear pieces telling them what to call.
A week later it was confirmed that the umpires coach talked to them through ear pieces in real time.
JOM is going to struggle for his spot next year I think. Assuming Erasmus signs, he and Johnson are now past him and that was pretty ****ing bad. He's going to be out of favour very quickly I think.

Wharfie time is about momentum and drive it forward until you score, its not supposed to be Cox and Ryan playing kick to kick with each other but its one of our big issues. Cox, Pearce, Ryan and Chapman are all horrible kicks. We were playing positive attacking football to get us in front then we lost brain cells and played negative football instead of the style that got us in front with 3 minutes to go…
I understand with 45 seconds to go but 3 ****ing minutes to go? ****ing dead fish.
We ****ed it like the America’s Cup defence in 1987…
Wagner'The bottom 6 just ****ing murdered us'
100% But are we smart enough to rectify that? Pretty hard to even getted dropped at Freo.

I think Brissy is cooked with the injury’s starting to pile for them. Very winnable game against them next week… for GCMost frustrating part is I expect Gold Coast will beat Brisbane and I think we could have too.
Gold Coast could seriously make the grand final from here, they have lucked into a home semi.

One year too many next season.Now. He’s done
We have 6 months to stew in hateMost of us are probably feeling a bit numb to it all. Shock is the first stage of grief after all.
It's a massive missed opportunity. The expectation is that we'll be back bigger and better next year but that's not always the case. We had a great chance to make a prelim at least. Most frustrating part is I expect Gold Coast will beat Brisbane and I think we could have too.

Well said.So many just small moments that last 3 minutes. Treacy back was correct, hes won us a couple games thisnyear with saving marks. He slept for 1 second not reading the ball had been kicked and he was done.
Cox is nothing but unlucky, impossible to know Swallow had dropped it. Gets called 50/50.
Bolton tackled gets called 25% of the time, its closer to a free kick than that horseshit Voss got called.
Playing the clock was what every single team in the AFL does. Inexcusable for Uwland of all players to mark it.
The bottom 6 just ****ing murdered us. At least that can be an easier fix than your top few. Some Suns also had the game of their lives in Davies and Humphrey's. Rowell was incredible.
I want to be angry but just numb. Gold Coast where fantastic, the boys showed amazing grit just a couple of 50/50 moments down the stretch. I dont have anything to be mad about except supporting Freo.
Probably the Swallow role at GCS. Set the training standards and fills in when needed, but just regularly outside of B22One year too many next season.
He played 200. Good. Actually think he may retire or perhaps get tapped on the shoulder
Your wrong on Frederick. Kicked career high in goals and highest tackle average, plays his role well however had to play Switta's tonight. Had a poor game, esp. the missed goal. JOM, Banfield are depth next year. NOD needs to get fitter.Disagree. Don’t have it all. Think the list over performed.
Really really would like to have hard looks at NOD, JOM, Banfield, Frederick. There’s better players on the list.
Freddy's had some great games, but that missed goal from 10m in front ended up being the difference and the ****ing stings.Your wrong on Frederick. There’s a few restructures to be hadWell said.
2 of our bottom 6 in tonight’s team can be carried & throw in Switta, Wagner & Simpson we’re a better team & win that game.
But we do not have a premiership list & there are upgrades needed to a few others who aren’t in that bottom 6 if we’re really serious about taking the next step. We need a completely healthy list to compete in finals which is not ideal & even then we’re not quite there at the moment.

You wouldn’t hate the nepo babies with a subsidised coach and a dozen gifted picks wins a flag?I wouldn't even hate seeing the Suns win the flag.
Honestly don’t get why Fredrick got that role.Your wrong on Frederick. Kicked career high in goals and highest tackle average, plays his role well however had to play Switta's tonight. Had a poor game, esp. the missed goal. JOM, Banfield are depth next year. NOD needs to get fitter.
Well I am remarkably calm and chilled tonight despite the close 1 pont loss.Got jumped early and played well to eventually get in front. Then we left the door open by trying to run the clock down.
We need to be better than this next year.
Just a nothing year again.
