Apart from where every single bit of evidence confirms that they are in fact very useful, and are still doing heavy lifting in strangling the Russian economy and their armaments industries, alongside Ukrainian military efforts damaging and destroying the Russian oil industry at an increasing pace, and destroying tens of thousands of military vehicles that cannot be replaced.

That Russia has had to pay Iran in gold for low tech drones to replace cruise missiles, and ships filled with shells and rocket artillery, and has had to go cap in hand to global superpower North Korea for troops, munitions, equipment, and slave labour for construction projects, speaks volumes.

Probably in some part due to RF beginning to withdraw forces from Sumy region , having failed that offensive, and starting to redeploy them for a force of numbers push at Pokrovsk, which was expected to fall by the end of 2024.

The West is going to be delighted with all the free oil and gas it will get from russia, and so will China when it move it's troops into Eastern Ukraine after little legs surrender to the West.

Lets aslo not forget that NATO has expanded with Finland and Sweden joining due to russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine.
Lets be honest here and say that russia has lost over a million soldiiers in it's illegal invasion of Ukraine and has asked north korea to make up the short fall in russian soldiers deaths
