Starting sub makes no sense. I could see him being subbed off if he hits the wall. We need to be trying to get on the scoreboard early and end it as a contest

Absolutely rooted system. Makes 0 sense about how there's a queue but then just seemly random allocation in to the queue.

Joined from different devices with different accounts. They moved at rapidly different rates and largely random allocated starting point.

The fact there's not preferential treatment for gold/members is still absurd also.

The whole system is a joke. It's what happens when there is a monopoly (shame on all the bands not joining Pearl Jam back in the day).

What they should do is give everyone 24 hours to register. You enter all the details, including number of tickets, restrictions, charge details etc... Then they use AI to randomly allocate the seats. Start with Gold membership and work through. That way they would also maximise the seating and not leave any single seats.
No waiting in queues.

Of course they don't want to do that because they want the panic so they can introduce dynamic pricing and rip everyone off as much as possible.

what's the view like level 1 row B? I got row C but haven't been on the boundary for years. Can you see other side of the ground well or mostly relying on the play being near you?

Great view it’s nothing like footy park. The problem we always have it’s Nicks’ game plan to kick it to the interchange side so the ball is rarely near us haha

I was disappointed with the Western stand last week. There were no facilities on our level at all and the bar/loo was a hike. The seats were great but we had to look at Eddie below us all night in his box.

This time got eastern stand pretty central level 2.

I was western stand level 4 last week. Was hopeless

We looked so much better with Laird in the middle. Had the equal most clearances out of all on the ground. With no Crouch in the team, that should continue (especially in light of all our other midfielders struggling at the moment). Rash comes in, Smith dropped, Max goes back, and I'd almost say peatling, Berry or Rash should be sub.

I think I would lean towards your idea rather than starting sub as you dont know who may need to come off before the plan

You have to think there are more changes.

9 Defenders - 1 playing up forward, 1 playing mid and 1 as the sub.
So i imagine that 2 of these are out, possibly Smith and Bond and then Max moves back to defence.
If not Bond then possibly Hinge, purely for match ups.

Unfortunately Billy & Sid did nothing to scream 'Pick Me' yesterday in the SANFL, however given Hawthorns speed, I would look to bring them both in and go all out attack in an attempt to beat Hawthorn at their own game.

I would also consider Draper or Berry as the starting sub and have Hinge on the pine.

That wont work as you have family members that sit together. Some might have a gold upgrade. Others just a silver. You could have a family split up in different parts of the ground because one is Gold but their kids may only be silver.

Thanks, I should have said I was in Bay 103 . Footy Park was hilarious how much was cut off by the drainage slope.

Yeah, the ticketek site blocks certain bays it seems, presumably by the barcode you enter. But its true according to the AFL and clubs. FWIW we have more bays this week than we did last week
I know the grand final is divided by proportion of members. If they used that system now then we would have been allocated less tickets than Collingwood

I know, but I think if you are a gold member you should get priority over 3 game members for access to tickets (I'm not a gold member btw).
It seems reasonable to me.

Or if they really want to reward loyal members they look into a system like the UK soccer where for big neutral matches (ie. Champions League Final or FA Cup Final) they reward members who go to the most league/cup matches or at least have their seat used. I know this would be tricky for us as not everyone can go to every match due to sporting/family commitments or illness.

We are interstate and can’t get to many games… but we pay a fortune for our membership with an upgrade to gold. Why are we seen as less supportive?
