I just can’t see how they beat us. They are so lucky Adelaide had a shocker.

The only thing that annoys me about it is it will make getting tickets much harder for our fans.

Hipwood was never playing against Geelong and it was doom and gloom pre game here and most tipped Brisbane to win, unless you're assuming 1 player out of a strong midfield makes a difference.

I don't think Hipwood is that crash hot anyway. There were calls for him to be dropped in the media as Morris has performed better.

Hipwood was meant to come back next week and has now been ruled out for the season. Brisbane rate him and their forward line looks short and inept without him.
I reckon they will struggle against GC next week.

Travelling with the family so have just managed to watch the whole game.
I just love it when we are on and put that together over 4 quarters.

Pressure and ball movement are our one wood and didn't we unleash it big time
Shades of GF22 when our forward pressure blew the Swans away.
We also had much more run from behind than I've seen all season , perhaps another Scott tactic of not revealing it until it really matters.

We have timed our run to perfection and you sense that we will get to the big dance and from there we could take all the chocolates......

AFL Gold members wouldn't have an issue, as the number of AFL Gold Cats and Pies members is fewer than the AFL Member allocation. It would be Gold members of non-competing clubs that would have very limited chance.

They were a pretty big reason as to why Adelaide had a shocker. They absolutely choked the life out of them.

Wasn't a one-off, either - Adelaide were extremely lucky to win in the last round as well.

One thing that worries me is that Collingwood doesn't play put off their sons or anything, but they did play better.

The week off did the old bodies a lot of good. What will a second week off provide?

Reckon Bris still have a shot left in them. Even without Neale they have multiple midfield options. Hipwood structurally is probably a greater loss. They can still trouble the Pies. Pies favourites to get through though.

Yeah completely agree. I'm not writing them off just yet. Still lots of quality, the Lions.

Pies have had some real luck lately. Suns gifted them fourth spot with that shocker of a loss to Port.

But credit to the Pies, they have taken their chance so far. I'm very confident of beating them in the GF if that's how it pans out for both teams which probably looks the most likely scenario now.

How great would it be to beat them in another granny.

We're placed similarly to the 2022 team now, according to most. But may have two MCG teams to face at the PF and GF this time.

Brisbane might rate him but his year has been ordinary. He's an ordinary player imo. He wouldn't have made any difference except match ups. Against us it wouldn't matter.

What also surprises me is how quick people are to jump of QF final lovers.

Adelaide has been trending downward for a while. They struggled to beat North and the Eagles for god’s sake.

Hopefully they have one last dying roar on the weekend in front of their fans and win their way through.

When I look at the sides left, I think a very nervy Prelim performance against a jacked up Hawthorn is our biggest threat.

Completely agree. But like you said, it's well within Fly's capabilities to do just that. He won't allow an open shoot out for that reason.
