Only applies if it is deliberate.

I should bookmark your post for the endless posts in Gameday threads (yes I know they are cesspools of shitposts but they provide me with temporary amusement at the melts) when someone inevitably complains about no free kick being paid for someone being tackled and the ball getting spilt.

Incorrect disposal is my biggest gripe with the afl rules .

Richmond won 3 flags spilling the ball forward in tackles no hand ball or kick just drop it and move it forward .

The advantage rule is BS also . 3 times yesterday GWS were made to bring the ball back when the were out in a continuous play . Yet hawks got advantage every time
The benefit of having these extremely grey rules is you can choose when to and when not to apply them to manufacture outcomes

For all the raving about Barrass' season, it looks like he was pretty bog average.

The Eagles have done pretty good business to trade him when we did IMO.
Looked pretty average in the GWS final too. Was elite at reading the ball, but still sometimes chose a mark when he should have spoiled and was killed on the lead or in a wrestle. I think it was an even trade, Hawks needed him and we got a lot of draft picks.

I noticed the same thing, looked pretty fumbly and dropping sitters.

Was listening to some weekly FoxFooty show and they were saying that Hawks have the best defence in the league thanks to Barrass and Battle. Thought I would do some research to see how true that is...

Terrible kicking inside 50 made a few deap defenders look impressive last weekend. It is interesting to see the tables turn when forwards lead up and disposal / decision making improves.

when forwards lead up and disposal / decision making improves.
When does that happen in finals these days though, unless one of the teams is shitting the bed?

Safer going with the 2017-2021 Richmond model of loads of agile forwards swarming defenders and creating turnovers inside 50

Free Agency working as intended 😂
The recipient needs to lose something, or there needs to restriction on the top 8 sides.

It was originally spruiked as a means to help poor performing sides bring in talent, but as you’ve pointed out - it’s only really helping the good teams.

What's with Draper drip feeding his decision?

He's had all injured season to work out what he wants to do, then he gets to his exit interview with the Bombers and says he hasn't made his mind up yet, only tells them today but doesn't say where he wants to go yet.

Does he think people care that much about him and his podcast that he's trying to generate interest and clicks by delaying it so much?

I didn't know Daniher was on three million dollars a year. Where the hell did Brisbane find all this money? I also think they're forgetting that they have to pay the Ashcrofts and Fletcher real soon...which is probably where all this 'Lachie Neale looking to move back to Perth' stuff is coming from.

Elliott of the pies and a few other winners led to space. I guess thats why they won.
I remember the GC backman on the lead late in the final quarter - sublime kick to him as well.

Designed to transfer talent from good teams to bad and has ended up achieving the exact opposite. Another success from the AFL.
