100% no argument but also there’s value in Charlie finding out that Sydney, Geelong and Gold Coast all “really want him” but not enough to part with anything outside of a token draft pick and an expendable player to actually get him. It might just give him (and his manager) a bit of a reality check about his place in the game, enough to make him pull his finger out and actually apply himself.
