I included standing room option too, only because I don't want to waive the guarantee access to a ticket.Priority 1 and chose standing room.
Overall, a pretty smooth process in the end.

Fingers crossed.I included seating room option too, only because I don't want to waive the guarantee access to a ticket.
Hopefully if we make it, we get seats![]()
nowhere on the email does it say it waives guaranteed ticket if you don't select Standing RoomI included seating room option too, only because I don't want to waive the guarantee access to a ticket.

Probably Tuesday/Wednesday next week when us and Cats find out who we play. I’d guess Cats game first and us second.Trying to find which day next week the prelim tickets are on sale for AFL members - not finding anything.
I think some P2 members got level 1 & 2 seats in 2023 vs P1 in the nose bleedsP2 member in the ballot. Logged on around 10:15am, no wait, simple process. Being able to login anytime between 9-6 is much better than having a window for each priority group, which has been the case other years.

At the time of registration, Members can elect not to receive Standing Room ticket(s), however if all Members in the group are able to stand for the duration of the day, it’s strongly recommended to select Option 1 –‘ I will accept the best available ticket – including Standing Room’. Electing not to select this option will waive the guaranteed access to purchase a Grand Final ticket for Members in P1 Plus/P1 and reduce the chance of being successful in obtaining a Grand Final ticket for Members in P2/P3.
I dunno why they wouldn't put that in the email. Anyway should be right hopefullyMember Grand Final Ballot Guide

Yep I'm P1 and was 2nd row from the back row on Level 4 Ponsford in 23.I think some P2 members got level 1 & 2 seats in 2023 vs P1 in the nose bleeds
Surely being P1 I'm still prioritised over all P2 and P3, even without selecting standingIt does on my letter.

You'd like to thnk so, but who knows. I wasn't taking any chances.Surely being P1 I'm still prioritised over all P2 and P3, even without selecting standing
Same here, I didnt select the standing room option, as I wouldnt be able ton stand all day anyway.Surely being P1 I'm still prioritised over all P2 and P3, even without selecting standing
Weird. You'd think those seats would be allocated at the end of the ballot, just before the standing and restricted view. Sounds like they set the system up wrong and offered those seats prior to the better Level 1 and 2 seats. Which is what they sometimes do in home and away matches. Ie: sell inferior seats first so they aren't left unsold at the end.Yep I'm P1 and was 2nd row from the back row on Level 4 Ponsford in 23.
IIRC there was about 13 people who were P1 in 2023 and missed because they didn't choose standing. I remember they complained and ended up getting a seated ticket in the endSame here, I didnt select the standing room option, as I wouldnt be able ton stand all day anyway.

I'm prepared for anything. At my age (early 30s), I can tolerate it.Only 1,000 standing spaces are allocated for the GF. You'd have to be incredibly unlucky to be P1 and get one of those![]()
If I get one of those I'll be on the phone to the club immediately to complainI'm prepared for anything. At my age (early 30s), I can tolerate it.

My recollection from 2023 was that the prioritisation extended as far as getting a ticket, but the actual distribution of tickets on a quality basis was still randomised.Surely being P1 I'm still prioritised over all P2 and P3, even without selecting standing
