This is the lame sort of stuff Falcon used to do. Why you would try to emulate him I'm not sure.
But cheers for holding your hands up on this point. I've raised the points I wanted to. The next step for Daicos is to really take over some finals as the best player on the ground, as opposed to good performances where he is 3rd or 4th in line. You never know when the abundance of finals opportunities could dry up. He has been in his prime the past 3 years and has a chance this season to end up with close to a Dusty 2017 level year. For some reason you think me saying these things is not just an attack on Daicos but a personal insult on your character. It's really not that deep. You are the only one getting emotional in this thread.
The difference being, you are the one flinging the insults in a thread about a Collingwood player.

I've been chatting about Daicos and other players in a fair and civil way minus two distinctions: Fadge going "LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" and you coming in to give a report on my posting history. Neither of which are football discussions and are befitting of those who would rather divert the conversation away from football and instead make it personal. If you are fed up of me posting football opinions in football threads then I'd advise the block button. Why you want to engage with me just to tell me you don't care what I think but do obsessively track and report on my post counts, is puzzling.

All of what you say was true, until you started flinging insults, so you were talking about Daicos and other players, until you got upset.
Now I have seemed to upset you some more.
Holmes has performed to a higher level than Daicos in finals over the past 4 seasons. That is without question. As is Selwood performing to a higher level in the 2007 finals series compared to Daicos in 2022. These are just two things you have to live with.

He turns 23 in a few months. His 2023 season was still his best, so yes I'm including that as his prime. If he is playing at a much higher level in the coming seasons then sure, we can call 2023 a development year.

Selwood was great in the 2007 finals series. We don't have easily accessible match reports available to report on the best players like we do by default on afl.com.au and other websites these days. He wasn't in our best performer in the prelim but was great in the QF + PF. You can either rewatch the games, which you don't, appreciate the stat lines for his role, which you won't, or continue to insult me or deflect, which you will.
