FROTH & FURY FEST 2026
PERTH ADDS TWO MORE INTERNATIONALS!
Fit For An Autopsy & Bodysnatcher join Froth & Fury Fest Perth 2026!
Both city line-ups now complete

Froth & Fury Fest today confirms two crushing Perth-exclusive additions: New Jersey wrecking crew Fit For An Autopsy and Florida's blunt-force breakdown machine Bodysnatcher. With these final adds, the festival's two city-exclusive bills for Adelaide and Perth are now locked and complete for summer 2026.

"Two cities. Two unique festivals. One deafening summer," said Perth Froth & Fury co-organiser Brad Wesson. "Perth just levelled up with Fit For An Autopsy and Bodysnatcher, while Adelaide remains absolutely stacked — each city gets its own beast. These are going to be the loudest festivals of the summer — made by fans, for the fans — with a killer mix of international heavyweights, homegrown Australian heavyweights, and some of the best local acts."

Don't wait—call the crew, claim your spot, and step into the festival your city deserves.

Those are some good lineups.

But I suppose there has to be some compensation for living in Perth and Adelaide!

I just watched the official footage, and some unofficial footage from the crowd, of Metallica performing Hole in the Sky at Back to the Beginning.
In the unofficial crowd footage it clearly shows Lars Ulrich using mallets, but in the official footage it clearly shows him using sticks.
Why?

In all seriousness I agree, my brother lives in Adelaide and is forever flying over to see bands, this is one I was considering going over for but I need to be selective these days unfortunately.

Oh 100%, I would think that Adelaide and Perth crowds would go crazy when they get a show due to how often they get stiffed on tours. Good to see them get a worthwhile festival.

Contrary to popular opinion I honestly reckon FOD is one of Maidens best efforts. Used to pump coins into an old country pub jukebox as a child that a distant relative owned to hear it back when it was in heavier rotation. Snagged it on cassette a couple later.

Want to go but not sure the feasibility of it with travelling from SA. Apparently Frankston is well out of the way. What's the accommodation like out there?

Quest Apartments in Frankston are pretty good. It’s actually a reasonable place by the bay these days, a decade ago it was the butt of all jokes. Bit of a journey however. Would cost a fortune in an uber from the airport. Min 2 hours.

Yeah wouldn't take an Uber. The airport bus is like $20, then about another $10 or so from Southern Cross station to Frankston station, so put asides ~$100 for transfers.

This is not a metal gig but cancel culture strikes again! The reason from the venue is BS spew.

Uni bar Adelaide has cancelled a sold-out Infected Mushroom show following backlash citing ‘staff and venue protection’ as front of mind when making the decision.
Statement from venue:
The sold-out Infected Mushroom show, will not be going ahead at UniBar ADL on Friday October 31.
UniBar ADL is a venue which holds diversity of bookings dear. Punk, soul, metal, folk, indie, house, hardcore, pop, electro, emo, experimental, jazz, country, hip hop, blues, funk, reggae, hyperpop, ska and even psytrance, created and performed by artists from diverse communities originating from places all over the country and the world. Although the Infected Mushroom show proved popular with audiences, not all members of our own community wanted it to proceed.
We take that feedback seriously.
To be clear, UniBar ADL have not been presented with any compelling evidence that the artist holds or promotes Zionist ideology or is guilty of any other accusations that have been levelled against them.
Paramount, as an independent venue, is the safety of our staff and thousands of artists that have played and will play the UniBar stage. Protection from the vitriol that has been directed toward some of those connected to the venue is front of mind, as is the protection of a venue itself that has hosted South Australian, Australian and international artists for over 50 years.
UniBar is apolitical and supports everyone’s right to opinions so long as they are accurate and expressed in a respectful manner, without malice or personal attacks. We hope in future that is the way public discourse is conducted.
Ticket holders will be contacted directly.

Unbelievable. Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not a play book.

And while I didn't agree with everything he said, my agreement or not with his views is irrelevant; RIP Charlie Kirk. I hope they take the shooter, alive, and expose them for the utter coward they are.

You should never compromise to the woke mob as they will never stop.

Edit: these guys are playing The Forum in Melbourne and have well over one million followers on Facebook, so this is actually quite a big cancellation. Most touring metal bands aren't that big.

Twisted Sister has officially reunited for a 50th anniversary tour in 2026.
Vocalist Dee Snider, founding guitarist/band manager Jay Jay French, and lead guitarist Eddie Ojeda will be joined by former Twister Sister member Joe 'Seven' Franco on drums and bassist Russell Pzütto for the global trek.
The 'We're Not Gonna Take It' hitmakers have vowed to “storm stages worldwide” in 2026 to mark their half-century milestone a decade on from their farewell ‘Forty and F--- It’ tour.
Jay Jay French says: "We are proud to celebrate a milestone that once felt unthinkable: a 50-year anniversary!! We have created a music and performance legacy that has and will continue to inspire millions of fans around the world. Twisted Forever, Forever Twisted!"
Dee Snider adds: "If you're lucky enough to be in a band that people still want to see after fifty years(!), how can you not answer the call? In 2026, Twisted F---ing Sister will hit stages around the world because WE STILL WANNA ROCK!!"
Twisted Sister reunited for a one-off performance at their Metal Hall of Fame induction on Thursday 26th January 2023 at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California.
Dee Snider previously said he’s “one hundred percent committed” to Twisted Sister not reuniting permanently but he wasn't against standalone shows.
As recently as March 2025, Snider slammed KISS’s fanclub-only comeback concert in Las Vegas, calling it "insulting" to fans.
